  1. dad permanently mounted a camper shell on this ranchero... back thirty years ago... cut out the rear bulkhead and rear window and threw away the tailgate. he also put in a 240 6 cyl from a maverick and jury rigged a floor shifter. then he drove it for twenty years before giving it to me. I simply have too many project cars and some gotta go. including this one. would make a good 'parts chaser' for somebody... yes, it does have issues and it needs tlc. the roof needs new crossbeams and it needs front end work and a lot more. that is why I have the price at $2222. steve 928-279-9124
  2. parting out 1955 Ford, (no body panels or seats), 336-627-9142, call 8-10 pm EST.
  3. We are looking to sell our 1930 Model A Woody. This vehicle has been in our dealership for several years and has been a a few parades. It has been over a year since we last cranked it and is sitting on our showroom floor to our dealership. If you are looking for a restoration project, then this might be the one for you. We are asking $13,500 for it, but accepting reasonable offers. Sabine River Ford 1601 Green Ave, Orange, TX 77630 409-883-3581
  4. Hello, So I know this is somewhat of an old tune as to how bad these leak, but lately I noticed that mine appears to be out of adjustment. the windshield isn't pulling all the way back into the frame. Anyone have advice on how these can be adjusted? I thought I'd ask before trying to pull mine apart this weekend. Any information is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Christopher

  8. Howdy there, folks! My name is Rich, and I'm new to the forum. I'll start by saying that I'm very far from an expert on classic cars. Other than my '80 MGB, I don't own any project cars. Got it for my 40th birthday in 1992 (it wasn't even a classic then ), basically paid others to fix her up a little over the years. This is completely off my main topic, but I reckon it serves to show what a novice I am. My father recently passed away at age 91, and I guess you can say that I've been in a bit of a nostalgic mood as of late. Growing up, we loved our '55 Ford Country Squire. We never considered it a classic then, but we got plenty of miles out of it traveling between Bedford, OH, and the Indianapolis-area (where we eventually moved in 1961). We used it for just about everything, including towing our old storage trailer. Dad got rid of it eventually--probably in the mid to late 60s when my brother and I were in high school. I don't know much about the vehicle, but I'd love to track it down, in the rare chance that it still exists. I'm retired now, and I wouldn't mind having it or maybe one just like it--seems like it'd be good weekend vehicle to toot around town in with the grandkids. Here's what I know: -The vehicle was white with the classic Woodie-trim (which I don't think was real wood). -It had a V8 272-4v OHV 182hp AT engine (from what my brother wrote down) -From the records, there were several different serial numbers, but it looks like the "main" one (novice here) is M5RY167500 -My father sold it to a man who lived in CA (which, if it stayed in CA, is the reason that I think it may still exist). We do not have the bill of sale unfortunately. Where's what I'd like to know: --How easy is it to "track" these old vehicles down? --What's a typical price for a vehicle like this in reasonable condition? --Long shot: Do any of you guys have this vehicle? I'm willing to pay top dollar! Any advice or info is greatly appreciated. Glad to be a part of your forum! Rich

  10. My grandfather just bought a 1946 Ford Deluxe Tudor sedan and we went to move it after it was delivered and the brake pedal would not come back off. The previous owner installed a dual reservoir master cylinder. Are these known to stick in cold weather? It was 16 - 19 degrees today. I've been around old cars since I was young and I have never seen this before. Thanks in advance.
  11. 1926 Ford Model T Coupe, black, clean title, all steel body, full Jaguar front and rear end suspension, Donovan built All-Aluminum Polished Small Block 350 Chevy, wire wheels, etched glass. Was my dads, looking to sell it or get into something different. Make an offer! Will sell less motor.
  12. Looking for a car to build or perhaps something that is turn key with no hassles? I have a number of project cars as well as completed cars available for sale. Cars which cover most of the more popular bases. I have quite a few Mopars, some great GM pieces, and a handful of Ford products. I have shipped cars to nearly every Continent on the Planet so if you need help exporting a vehicle, please do not hesitate to ask. Let us begin with the projects: 1969 Dodge RT/SE Charger that is loaded with nearly every single option you could get in 69. Power windows, power steering, power brakes, AC, Tachometer, cruise control, etc. This is a complete car but it is not a numbers matching car. It does come with a correct 440 and will make a great piece for anyone who is looking to build a true pedigree collector vehicle. I am asking 18k for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1970 Dodge RT/SE Charger, all numbers matching 440 "U" code car. This car is also loaded with options. Most importantly and extremely rare (1 of 112 Chargers in 1970) power Sunroof. It also has power steering, power brakes, AC, tachometer, power windows, and more. This car is a complete survivor that will need fully restored but when it is done, you'll have something as rare if not more rare then a Hemi car. I'm asking 21k for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1970 Dodge Charger. B5 Blue with Blue interior. Original big block 383 car. This car is also complete but will need restored. I'm asking 9k on it. This car comes with a clear title. 1973 Dodge SE Charger. Another rare car. It is an original Red, White Top, with White interior car. It also retains its original numbers matching 400 HP (Higher Performance) motor. It is loaded with power windows, power steering, power brakes, AC, and a manual Sunroof! This car is complete and is relatively solid. I'm asking 3,700 for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1972 Plymouth Barracuda (Cuda). Original Black car, White top, Black interior, 318, AC car. Its original VIN and fender tag are in place. I do not have a title for this car. I'm asking 1,200 for it. 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. This car is extremely solid and rust free. It has been mini-tubbed correctly so if you're looking to build a one of a kind Pro-Touring or drag car, this is a very cost effective solution. I'm asking 2,800 for it. This car does come with a clear title. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. This car is complete but has a non matching motor within it. I'm asking 6,500 for it and it too comes with a clear title. 1970 Pro-Touring Cuda. This is an extremely high end build that is nearly finished. This Cuda is loaded with a fresh 426 Hemi, 5 Speed Tremec, 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, AC, and the high dollar Magnuforce front suspension. It sits on a set of Custom black staggered Boss wheels. It has been painted in the popular Plum Crazy Purple and has Black interior. This Cuda has no miles on it as of yet and given the amount of anticipation for its completion, I don't foresee it being here long. Once completed, I'll be asking 110k. If I can presell it, I'll give a considerable adjustment in price. This Cuda also has a clear title. GM 1947 Chevrolet Shortbed 3100 Pickup Truck. Solid, rust free Truck that's been Subframed. It has power steering, disc brakes, tilt steering, 350/350, with a 10 bolt rear end. You could hop in it and drive it anywhere. Just a nice turn key Pickup. I'm asking 9,700 and it does have a clear title. 1956 GMC Shortbed Stepside Pickup Truck. This Truck is complete and will need restored. It is a halfton/3100 that has a newer model 283 within it. I'm asking 3,700 for it and it comes with a clear title. 1958 Chevrolet Apache Pickup Truck with a Stepside bed. Another 3100/half ton. This Pickup is complete and will need restored. I am asking 2,700 and it too has a clear title. 1964 Pontiac true GTO with PHS. A very rare and rust free car. An original 389 Tri- Power four speed car. Nocturne Blue with Black interior. It has been stored in a barn for over forty years. It is complete minus the drive train. Again, it is solid as well as unmolested as far as the body goes. I'm asking 10,500 for it and it too has a clear title. 1968 Pontiac true GTO with PHS. Original Solar Red with Black interior, AC, power steering, and power brakes. This car was also stored next to the 64, in a barn, for over 40 years. It is also solid and unmolested. The interior within this GTO could actually be cleaned up and kept in great survivor quality. It does have a 69 400 motor with Ram Air III heads. I'm asking 6,800 and this too comes with a clear title. Two 1972 Chevrolet Chevelles. These are both big projects but are mostly complete minus motors and transmissions. One has a title, the other does not. I'm asking 3,500 for the pair. 1972 Chevy Nova SS Clone, done and turn key. Shave doors with electric poppers, crate 350/350 setup, power steering, posi rear end, power disc brakes, just a great, solid, and rust free driver with less than 700 miles on it since being completed. I'm asking 14,500 and it does have a clear title. 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe. This is one that is completely finished and is very nice. From what I know about the car, it was used for running Moon Shine during the 50's, out of the Lake Of The Ozarks. Keeping in traditional fashion, this Chevy looks bone stock however, it is anything but. It has an extremely fast 350 which is backed by a four speed manual transmission. This thing is very fast and is a blast to drive. It has been completely gone through and has less than a 1000 miles on it since being completed. I'm asking 18k obo. This car also has a clear title. 1950 Chevrolet Rat Rod/Resto Rod. This thing is almost as ridiculous as the 51. I hate to call it a Rat Rod because for the most part, it hasn't just been pieced together. A lot of time and money have been invested in to this 50 and you can see as well as feel this when you're behind the steering wheel. It has a powerful 400, 400 automatic transmission, posi rear end, and front disc brakes. It is truly a remarkable automobile. I'm asking 14k and it too has a clear title. Ford 1970 - 1972 Ford F100, complete, loaded with options, no title. 360, AC, power steering, power brakes, AC, no title. I'm asking 1,200. 1961 Ford F100, Short bed ,step side, Pickup Truck, complete minus a motor. Nice interior, nice body, 10 foot paint, I'm asking 4,500 and this Truck also comes with a clear title. 1973 Ford Mustang with 45k original miles. It has its original 5.0 302 which is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This Mustang retains all of its original sheet metal and is a lot of fun to drive. I am asking 4,500 and we do have a clear title for it. Cobra kit car. This Cobra has had close to 30k invested in to it. The entire frame has been built, a rebuilt Jaguar rear end has been implemented in to it, disc brakes, just a lot of goodies. It does have its VIN tag as well as a clear title. I'm asking 15k for it. 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. A fully restored Red with Black interior, inline six car. This is an exceptionally nice Convertible that draws attention everywhere we take it. I'm asking 17,500 and it too has a clear title. 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Original "C" code 289 car that has power brakes, AC, and just finished a fresh repaint. The interior, paint, and mechanical aspect of the car I would rate a solid 9/10. It is a very nice turn key Fastback. White with Red interior car. I'm asking 28k and it also has a clear title. The absolute best of the bunch! 1967 GT500E Super Snake Eleanor. Number 292 in the Eleanor registry. An original 390 "S" Code Fastback that has been modernized and rotisserie restored. Not a single dime was spared nor was a single bolt untouched. The original 390 was built to a power house 500+ HP motor and is backed by a 5 speed Tremec. Power steering, power brakes, AC, leather, just an exceptionally nice vehicle thats had over 150k invested in to it. It was just completed in November of 2014 and has less than 20 miles on it. I'm asking 115k and it does have a clear title. These vehicles are located here in Kansas City, Missouri and are in our possession. I have been all around these cars from top to bottom and front to back. I have extensive photos as well as video of these vehicles. If you would like more detailed information on any of them, please feel free to call, text, or email. Have a great day. Thanks, 816-308-0351 My email is shawnmid at yahoo period com.

As you can see it is in need of total restoration. The chassis is actually in pretty good shape. The frame is nice. The engine may run The transmission and rear end look to be in good shape also. The cowl, bucket, hood, front fenders, and radiator shroud are all metal. The bed looks nice the bucket and doors have very little body filler in them and are very restorable. I have some extra parts extra parts including new top and interior and some other miscelaneous stuff. I have a neew top and interior kit that goes with it. I do have a title for the vehicle. This car is in good condition that I wanted to restore it but just dont have time. I've decided to let someone else have it. It would be a great street rod project but I didn't want to chop it up since it was close enough to restore. Email with any questions. text 260 249 9434 </section>
  14. 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car this is a true survivor with 28,500 original miles and in great shape. Recaro seats are like brand new and this is a 302 car with air and auto which is very rare. We lowered the car and put new rims and tires on it and also new dual exahust on it. The original tires are in good shape as well and are included with the car, this is a very nice car mustang collectors here you go. pics wont post on here below is a link to craigslist add price is $13,000. Car is in indiana not oklahma http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/4860442693.html
  15. As you should be able to see in the pics, I have only taken this out of the box. It has not been installed or altered from its new condition. What I know for sure is what the box says -- Wiring Harness --for 1946 Ford. why I have it I bought this a couple years ago for my 1942 Ford. I was new to the "restoring" thing and had been told if it fit what I have I better buy it. I WAS NOT TOLD THIS BY THE PERSON I GOT THIS FROM Anyway, when i saw a in new condition wiring harness for what should have been the same as my car I bought it. This weekend I started installing the new wiring, I had bought several more pieces as I found them, and found out this will not fit a 1942 Ford Deluxe with a 6 cylinder. Price is $60 shipped, in the USA only.

  17. This car is way cooler than the Batmobile every was. This is the coolest looking car I've ever seen in my opinion!
  18. I made this post under "General Info" the week before last. I had not noticed that this Woodie Club section existed. http://forums.aaca.org/f169/info-needed-55-ford-country-squire-383597.html Does anyone in this area have any further info to help me locate my father's Woodie? Trying not to be annoying here, fellas. Any help is greatly appreciated! Rich
  19. I'll preface this by saying I'm not very knowledgeable about cars in general, but I've always had a thing for classic Mustangs. I've never owned one, but I just saw this ad for a 71 mustang convertible. http://neworleans.craigslist.org/cto/4769712880.html Since I've never even driven a classic Mustang I really have no idea how much that car is worth. Does it seem priced appropriately? Is there anything I should know/look out for when purchasing an old car like this? And what does he mean by "clone"? Please forgive my "newbie-ness" on the subject. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  21. For sale I have a 1958 Ford Edsel Pacer 2dr Hardtop. Car is mostly complete but is in need of COMPLETE restoration as it is very rusty. Floors, rockers, and trunk pan will need to be replaced and the lower part of the doors and rear driver side pillar will also need a little help. There are some rust spots on the fenders and quarters but they appear to be salvageable. Frame, from what I can tell appears to be rather solid with mostly just surface rust. Most of the glass on the car is good except the drivers side wing window is broken and there is crack in the rear driver side window as well. I believe the car is all original including engine and transmission. I have not yet tried hand cranking the engine over yet so don't know much about the engine at this time. It came with the optional Teletouch Push-Button Automatic transmission as well as heat, radio, and 3.22:1 performance rear axle ratio. So this car came with a decent number of option when it was new. From my research I understand that there were about 6700 Edsel Pacer 2dr's produced in total (only made in 1958). Of those 6700, only 6200 of them remained in the US and many of those cars did not have as many options as this car does. Now with that being said, I understand what it will take to get this car road worthy again so my $2100 asking price is negotiable. The car is located in Dallastown, PA and has a CLEAN and CLEAR PA title. If you are interested in the car or would like to come take a look at it please message me and I will get you my contact information.

  23. I am a journalist and author of several books (including MEN AND SPEED: A Wild Ride Through NASCAR's Breakout Season). I am currently writing a book about the early days of the auto industry, with a focus on Ford, Olds and GM. Despite extensive online research and a week in Michigan libraries and archives, I have failed to find the papers of Frederic L. Smith, whose father was one of the original investors in Olds, and who forced out founder Ransom in a corporate coup in late 1903 - early 1904 to become head of Olds Motor Works. Smith left the industry when Durant bought what was left of Olds in 1908. Does anyone know where his personal papers might be -- or can suggest an avenue of pursuit? you can reach me at pascoagwriter@yahoo.com or at www.gwaynemiller.com Many thanks! G. Wayne Miller Frederic L. Smith
  24. Hi Everyone, Just updated the Model T enthusiasts site... http://www.fordmodelt.net I figured a friendly introduction video would be nice, many of you have asked what I look like. Stay tuned - Mitch.
