  1. I have been a member for a couple years now but have not done much in the way of posting. I have posted quite a bit on some of the other car forums out there and have created a web page with resources for 1941-1946 Chevrolet trucks (in particular 1/2 tons). If you have a 46's GM truck, you may find it useful. There is nothing commercial about the site. It is just there as a resource to fellow collectors that are restoring their truck. www.46chevytruck.com I look forward to getting my truck in a AACA meet in the future! Happy New Year! Tim

  4. Looking for a car to build or perhaps something that is turn key with no hassles? I have a number of project cars as well as completed cars available for sale. Cars which cover most of the more popular bases. I have quite a few Mopars, some great GM pieces, and a handful of Ford products. I have shipped cars to nearly every Continent on the Planet so if you need help exporting a vehicle, please do not hesitate to ask. Let us begin with the projects: 1969 Dodge RT/SE Charger that is loaded with nearly every single option you could get in 69. Power windows, power steering, power brakes, AC, Tachometer, cruise control, etc. This is a complete car but it is not a numbers matching car. It does come with a correct 440 and will make a great piece for anyone who is looking to build a true pedigree collector vehicle. I am asking 18k for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1970 Dodge RT/SE Charger, all numbers matching 440 "U" code car. This car is also loaded with options. Most importantly and extremely rare (1 of 112 Chargers in 1970) power Sunroof. It also has power steering, power brakes, AC, tachometer, power windows, and more. This car is a complete survivor that will need fully restored but when it is done, you'll have something as rare if not more rare then a Hemi car. I'm asking 21k for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1970 Dodge Charger. B5 Blue with Blue interior. Original big block 383 car. This car is also complete but will need restored. I'm asking 9k on it. This car comes with a clear title. 1973 Dodge SE Charger. Another rare car. It is an original Red, White Top, with White interior car. It also retains its original numbers matching 400 HP (Higher Performance) motor. It is loaded with power windows, power steering, power brakes, AC, and a manual Sunroof! This car is complete and is relatively solid. I'm asking 3,700 for it. This car comes with a clear title. 1972 Plymouth Barracuda (Cuda). Original Black car, White top, Black interior, 318, AC car. Its original VIN and fender tag are in place. I do not have a title for this car. I'm asking 1,200 for it. 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. This car is extremely solid and rust free. It has been mini-tubbed correctly so if you're looking to build a one of a kind Pro-Touring or drag car, this is a very cost effective solution. I'm asking 2,800 for it. This car does come with a clear title. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. This car is complete but has a non matching motor within it. I'm asking 6,500 for it and it too comes with a clear title. 1970 Pro-Touring Cuda. This is an extremely high end build that is nearly finished. This Cuda is loaded with a fresh 426 Hemi, 5 Speed Tremec, 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, AC, and the high dollar Magnuforce front suspension. It sits on a set of Custom black staggered Boss wheels. It has been painted in the popular Plum Crazy Purple and has Black interior. This Cuda has no miles on it as of yet and given the amount of anticipation for its completion, I don't foresee it being here long. Once completed, I'll be asking 110k. If I can presell it, I'll give a considerable adjustment in price. This Cuda also has a clear title. GM 1947 Chevrolet Shortbed 3100 Pickup Truck. Solid, rust free Truck that's been Subframed. It has power steering, disc brakes, tilt steering, 350/350, with a 10 bolt rear end. You could hop in it and drive it anywhere. Just a nice turn key Pickup. I'm asking 9,700 and it does have a clear title. 1956 GMC Shortbed Stepside Pickup Truck. This Truck is complete and will need restored. It is a halfton/3100 that has a newer model 283 within it. I'm asking 3,700 for it and it comes with a clear title. 1958 Chevrolet Apache Pickup Truck with a Stepside bed. Another 3100/half ton. This Pickup is complete and will need restored. I am asking 2,700 and it too has a clear title. 1964 Pontiac true GTO with PHS. A very rare and rust free car. An original 389 Tri- Power four speed car. Nocturne Blue with Black interior. It has been stored in a barn for over forty years. It is complete minus the drive train. Again, it is solid as well as unmolested as far as the body goes. I'm asking 10,500 for it and it too has a clear title. 1968 Pontiac true GTO with PHS. Original Solar Red with Black interior, AC, power steering, and power brakes. This car was also stored next to the 64, in a barn, for over 40 years. It is also solid and unmolested. The interior within this GTO could actually be cleaned up and kept in great survivor quality. It does have a 69 400 motor with Ram Air III heads. I'm asking 6,800 and this too comes with a clear title. Two 1972 Chevrolet Chevelles. These are both big projects but are mostly complete minus motors and transmissions. One has a title, the other does not. I'm asking 3,500 for the pair. 1972 Chevy Nova SS Clone, done and turn key. Shave doors with electric poppers, crate 350/350 setup, power steering, posi rear end, power disc brakes, just a great, solid, and rust free driver with less than 700 miles on it since being completed. I'm asking 14,500 and it does have a clear title. 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe. This is one that is completely finished and is very nice. From what I know about the car, it was used for running Moon Shine during the 50's, out of the Lake Of The Ozarks. Keeping in traditional fashion, this Chevy looks bone stock however, it is anything but. It has an extremely fast 350 which is backed by a four speed manual transmission. This thing is very fast and is a blast to drive. It has been completely gone through and has less than a 1000 miles on it since being completed. I'm asking 18k obo. This car also has a clear title. 1950 Chevrolet Rat Rod/Resto Rod. This thing is almost as ridiculous as the 51. I hate to call it a Rat Rod because for the most part, it hasn't just been pieced together. A lot of time and money have been invested in to this 50 and you can see as well as feel this when you're behind the steering wheel. It has a powerful 400, 400 automatic transmission, posi rear end, and front disc brakes. It is truly a remarkable automobile. I'm asking 14k and it too has a clear title. Ford 1970 - 1972 Ford F100, complete, loaded with options, no title. 360, AC, power steering, power brakes, AC, no title. I'm asking 1,200. 1961 Ford F100, Short bed ,step side, Pickup Truck, complete minus a motor. Nice interior, nice body, 10 foot paint, I'm asking 4,500 and this Truck also comes with a clear title. 1973 Ford Mustang with 45k original miles. It has its original 5.0 302 which is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This Mustang retains all of its original sheet metal and is a lot of fun to drive. I am asking 4,500 and we do have a clear title for it. Cobra kit car. This Cobra has had close to 30k invested in to it. The entire frame has been built, a rebuilt Jaguar rear end has been implemented in to it, disc brakes, just a lot of goodies. It does have its VIN tag as well as a clear title. I'm asking 15k for it. 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. A fully restored Red with Black interior, inline six car. This is an exceptionally nice Convertible that draws attention everywhere we take it. I'm asking 17,500 and it too has a clear title. 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Original "C" code 289 car that has power brakes, AC, and just finished a fresh repaint. The interior, paint, and mechanical aspect of the car I would rate a solid 9/10. It is a very nice turn key Fastback. White with Red interior car. I'm asking 28k and it also has a clear title. The absolute best of the bunch! 1967 GT500E Super Snake Eleanor. Number 292 in the Eleanor registry. An original 390 "S" Code Fastback that has been modernized and rotisserie restored. Not a single dime was spared nor was a single bolt untouched. The original 390 was built to a power house 500+ HP motor and is backed by a 5 speed Tremec. Power steering, power brakes, AC, leather, just an exceptionally nice vehicle thats had over 150k invested in to it. It was just completed in November of 2014 and has less than 20 miles on it. I'm asking 115k and it does have a clear title. These vehicles are located here in Kansas City, Missouri and are in our possession. I have been all around these cars from top to bottom and front to back. I have extensive photos as well as video of these vehicles. If you would like more detailed information on any of them, please feel free to call, text, or email. Have a great day. Thanks, 816-308-0351 My email is shawnmid at yahoo period com.
  5. Very nice super straight and rock solid pickup. Runs and drives great. 350 with mild cam, auto with B&M shifter, ceramic headers with dual exhaust and aluminum wheels. $17,000. Details and photos are available upon request since I can't figure how to upload the photos here.
  6. I just bought a 1941 Chevrolet Business Coupe. It is all stock and has been sitting for several months. I got it running okay, but when I try to put it in gear, it seems that the clutch is not working right. When I push in on the clutch and try to shift in a gear, it acts as though the clutch had not been depressed. I checked the inspection hole to see the pressure plate and thrust bearing and they seem to be operating as normal. Any ideas what to do next? Many thanks to those who answer. The site has been very helpful. Thanks to all.
  7. Please can I know which website sells all parts for Chevrolet 31 phaeton, can you suggest any books on restoration of motor & body for Chevy 31,

  9. Jon Boschen's Classic Industrial Film Showcase" No. 2: "Direct Mass Selling's Technicolor Harmony" Two 1930's Jam Handy films, "Color Harmony" (1938) and "Seeing Green" (1937), are the subject in this installment of "Jon Boschen's Classic Industrial Film Showcase". Both films were produced by the Jam Handy Organization and were entries in the studio's iconic short film series being produced for Chevrolet, 'Direct Mass Selling'. Unlike other entries in the series which consisted of either black and white live action films or Technicolor animated cartoons, these two films utilized the black and white to Technicolor technique as a way to enhance their subject matter. It is now available for viewing on youtube: å<object type="cosymantecnisbfw" cotype="cs" id="SILOBFWOBJECTID" style="width: 0px; height: 0px; display: block;"></object>

  11. Selling a 1956 Chevy stakebed 12,000 price negotiable, email for more info
  12. I am trying to tie down the years and brands this convertible rear window was used in. It is 27 3/8" wide and 7 1/2" tall. The outside finish is chrome and the inside is painted. The faces of the frame have a curved surface rather than a flat surface. I have am impression that is was used on Chevrolet convertibles possibly from 1940 1941 1942 1946 1947 1948 1949 and 1950, but I'm not sure. It may have been used on other GM products such as Pontiac, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile or others.
  13. 1970 Chevrolet Caprice $4,500 Two-door hardtop, 98,700 original miles, automatic, 400 small block engine, power steering, power brakes, climate control air-conditioning and a redone interior. This car has been garage kept. It looks good and also runs well. There is some modest rust above the wheel wells, as shown in the pictures, but any in-person view of this issue will soothe any deep concerns. I've owned this great car for nearly 30 years and want to sell it because I'm downsizing. The price I've listed was determined through use of multiple classic car price guides/rating systems and through the value of what I've put into this vehicle over time. Any inquiries regarding trade-ins, or any offers to help me sell my car, or requests to trade my car for some other type of property, are not desired. I've listed my car for sale on this site because I want to sell it myself to another private party who will appreciate my classic car. Any requests that involve shipping my car to any location within the United States are appreciated. But, those requests should be made with the name of the shipping company that you have used, or plan to use, in this regard and should explain your experience with an out-of-state title transfer. Those two points are key for someone who wants to buy my car. Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States Joe - seanboru68@yahoo.com - 610-750-1943

  22. Over the years I've acquired these hood ornaments. I think the airplanes are from the late 1920s and were produced by Chevrolet. The gauge with the wings, I think, goes to a 1924 Chrysler. And the goddess is for a 1925/26 Packard. Since I don't have the cars to go with them, they're not much use to me. I am looking to sell them, but I would also appreciate any information about them. There is no set price. Will take the best offer (within reason). If you are interested in adding any of them to your collection, or just know something about them, you can contact me by responding to this thread, or give me a call at (410) 635-6019 and ask for Howard. Thanks.

  24. I am installing the top on my 1932 Pontiac Sport Coupe. I am using a kit from the Filling Station for Fisher bodies. The kit recommends using a sound/heat barrier which sounds like a good idea. They also recommend using a burlap material above the wood slats. They also did not provide any information on the type of tacks used to put the top material on. So, my questions are: 1) Has anybody used this kit on their early Pontiac? 2) Have you used a heat barrier and if so, where did you purchase? 3) Where did you purchase the burlap material? 4) Do you have any information on sizes and sources of the tacks used to put the top down? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Rob
  25. Hi, The Chief of the 8th Battalion operated this beauty. I believe that it is a 1946-48 Chevrolet but I'm hoping someone can give me an exact year and perhaps a model? Thanks!! Steve
