HI all, This is the ongoing restoration of my 58 Buick Century Riviera in Sri Lanka. It is the only such car known to be in Sri Lanka. If this car was in USA, it would be considered a scrap car. Not even a parts car. However, we are not allowed to import any vehicle over 2 years old into Sri Lanka, so importing a classic is not possible. All we can do, is restore the cars already existing in Sri Lanka, no matter how bad they are and what it costs. Hope you folks find the restoration interesting. Looking forward to comments.

I'm looking for a front left fender for a very close friend's immaculate 1992 Buick Century Custom Coupe. Unfortunately a deer did (thankfully) minor damage and I am having trouble locating a fender - NOS or aftermarket (not particular) that I can shoot for paint. It's a beautiful 40,000 mile car, treasured by its owner and very close friend. Any leads are most appreciated; many thanks in advanced. I can be reached at: 860-782-1554 or Private Messaged.

I've found a 58 hardtop project car but the front seat is missing. Is any other Buick/GM front seat frame/spring assembly the same as a 58 Century 4-door hardtop seat? From looking at pictures, I would guess that the 57 Olds and Buick "B" bodies shared a common seat frame, but I'd like to be more certain before I buy a seat. I have searched this forum but can't find an answer; hope someone can help me out. Thanks! JoeT

Hello All! Elise here. I have a very basic working knowledge of cars, picked up from friends along the way, but I am diving right in with my lovely lady. We had a wonderful ride last Saturday, and then again a couple of days ago... but that is when she revealed to me that she needed some assistance. Water everywhere upon stopping, and then after starting once, refused and sent fuel running from the carb. (I do suspect that the gent who put the water in the radiator for me may have simply flooded her, but I have been advised I should rebuild the carb). She did finally start again after a

This is a solid convertible that has been in my garage for the past 16 years, only 5558 produced. The engine is complete and turns over, the transmission was apart when I bought the car but I have a '56 Super dynaflow that goes with the car. The engine and transmission are now in the car (new torque ball kit installed and new front motor mounts). Body is pretty solid needs drivers floor pan, included and floor patched under rear seat. Doors are rust free (Passenger door has had dents pulled out). Driver’s front fender is rust free and Passenger fender has small amount at headlight chrome. Tru

Hi guys, can anyone out there help me please. I suspect my fuel sender unit is faulty as the gauge intermittently tells me it's either empty or full and nowhere in between, which is not very useful. Can I get at the unit without dropping the tank ? I'm not sure where to look.

This is a one owner car and been in the family since new; purchased by my parents. 26,104 miles! It sat in the garage for the better part of its life. It's in good shape for a '74, and all original. Everything runs and operates as it should. There is no rust-through and no major accidents. Comes with original license plates issued by NYS DMV at time of purchase. Registration last renewed in 1987. For pictures please visit on-line album using the link below: CANON iMAGE GATEWAY The pictures speak for themselves as to the condition of the car. I have a large collection of parts from a 1955 Buick Century Estate Wagon that came from a parts car. Includes 4 doors, rear window, two sets of interior trim, air cleaner, spark plug wire covers, dashboard, Dynaflow transmission, rear end, gauges, and many more small parts. It would take two 1/2 ton trucks to carry it all away. I would prefer to sell all the parts to one good home, but if there is something specific you need we can negociate a good price.

Hello! New to the forum and trying to sell my 55' 4 door, red and white Buick Century! V8 322 nail head rebuilt carburetor Aprox 87,000 miles but the engine may have been rebuilt at some point runs GREAT It was newly painted about 8 years ago and has been mostly garaged since. It runs great, I've never had any issues with it, besides the usual Buick problems. I'll be honest, the interior is trashed except the headliner, was when I bought it but I just don't have the money to make it the way I'd like. I wanted to keep it original so it was repainted the original color Cherokee Red and White

Hi! I am looking for a 1957 Buick Special or Century Two Door Hardtop for my next project. If possible it should be a complete car, and I prefer one in reasonable - to good condition. Project cars will also be considered. I am also interessted in information about cars, that could lead to a possible deal. A tip that lead to a deal will be rewarded. The car will be shipped to Tempe AZ, where it will be rebuilt. Buick - Power and Silence
