  3. I have a 1954 Plymouth Belvedere that I have recently started working on. I took the carb off and took it apart to clean and rebuild it because the car was running really rough. When I got it apart I realized the float lever pin in the float was missing. The rebuild kit I bought doesn't have that in it so should I try and find one or just buy a whole new carb? In either case is there any advice on where to get replacement parts. It has the original flatness inline 6. Thanks.

  8. 1956 Plymouth Savoy, handsome turq/white exterior and interior. 270" V-8, and dash mounted push button automatic transmission gives power to the ground. Equipped with rare factory AM radio. This is a nice driving, fun to enjoy, recent restoration on a rust free North Dakota car with well preserved sheet metal. Extra insulation has been added to the floors and ceiling for a quieter and cooler ride. Vin # 15983334, a product of Virgil Exner's design team called "The Forward Look". When you see it, what strikes you, though it will take some time for you to figure it out, is the long, gentle, sweeping arc stretching uninterrupted from headlight brow to tail light tip. And those headlights, unlike the previous year's Plymouth—and unlike those of Ford and Chevrolet—are hidden from the side by forward-canted hoods. The taillights are hooded with a complimentary rearward cant. It gives the new Plymouth a sense of being in forward motion even while standing still. The doors open and close with a solid thunk, not a hollow metallic whap like today’s cars. The front grille is a handsome, massive affair, and it looks spectacular between those hooded headlights. Because of its handsome color combination and "flight sweep" styling, this car draws a crowd. $13,900. 336-765-8312, North Carolina, USA. Delivery available world wide. 9. Hi all, I'm new here so I thought I'd share. Here's my car: 1958 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe. 350 Golden Commando Dual Quad engine with 3-speed Torqueflite. It's a work-in-progress. Needs paint and chrome here and there. The transmission has a leak, but is otherwise operating normally. I also want to get bias-ply tires. And the brake lights only come on when the pedal is near the floor, so I have to figure that one out.
