  1. <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <o:OfficeDocumentSettings> <o:AllowPNG/> </o:OfficeDocumentSettings> </xml><![endif]--> Copart Auction's Classic Car dept will be auctioning off all of the cars, equipment, parts, 100's and 100's of hub caps and basically the accumulation of a lifetime or two of the contents of the Scott and Son's Towing and Garage Yard starting on the 21st of October at Noon (through their Eugene Auction and Yard)... These cars have been cleaned up and will be available for previewing starting almost immediately this week. There are ov
  2. Hi all, Just wondering how many members have a similar car to the 1921 EJ LIGHT Six I purchased yesterday. An impromptu visit with one of my Terraplane buddies to a true and blue Studebaker guy resulted in the purchase of a 1921 EJ Light Six. Another unscheduled purchase on my part, but could not let this one slip through my fingers as it was a genuine "Barn Find" that Al purchased in 2003. The body on the car is exceptional, and the engine actually ran after he brought it home. Al started the restoration 10 years ago by disassembling the car and carefully tagged and bagged the parts with a
  3. 1984 Pontiac Fiero SE, 4 cylinder, auto, sunroof, factory air, all original 66137 MILES! This is an orginal paint other than the front bumper cover and right fender (both painted when it was 6 months old) survivor. Must see, all types of paperwork included, window sticker, service manual, invoice to purchase as a GM employee, etc.... My father bought it new. Ordered in October of 1983, delivered in January 1984. 30 years in the same family! It is a true preservation auto. It still has original belts and hoses. Interior is all original and beautiful. Headlights go up and down like they should!
  4. I'm looking for any info I can find regarding Wilkinson Motors in Salt Lake City. O.J. Wilkinson owned the Auburn Cord Duesenberg dealership and also the Diamond T truck dealership. I have a couple photos of the ACD dealership with Wilkinson and race driver Ab Jenkins. I can't find anything regarding the Diamond T dealership other than a few photos of Wilkinson Diamond Ts with the Mormon Meteor at Bonneville. I'd like to uncover more details, becuase I just found a model 201 pickup that came from Wilkinson motors that had been hiding out in the Utah desert since 1965. Some of the photos and
  5. I am a first time poster on this website, but thought I would share the incredible "barn find" my father and myself stumbled upon last week. The story begins with the sale of a Ford Mustang Cobra we had owned for quite a few years. The new owner of the car noticed my fathers E body mopar collection in the garage and mentioned that his late father was an avid car collector and his step mother was looking to sell off his collection. He mentioned that most of the cars were from the 40's to 60's and warned us that they had all been sitting since the late 60's when his father lost interest. Intrigu
  6. For Sale is a 1951 Washington DC Diamond Taxi Cab - Cranbrook Sedan (VIN 12707952) last used between 1952 and 1959 in Washington DC as a Diamond Taxi Cab. This car comes with a sister 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Sedan Parts Car (VIN 12704438). Both cars were delivered to the previous owner in Arlington Virginia in 1960. The "Parts" Car was driven to its parking spot and was left parked outside for 50 years hidden from view by bamboo and was in perfect running condition when parked - in 1960 - it did not move from that spot for 50 years. Both of the vehicles will come with a Bill of Sale as the ti
