I'm a long time lurker and have gotten indispensable help from the many generous members (headlight motors, display replacements, etc.). I have a new issue I haven't seen expressly addressed in my searches of the forum. My 1990 (alas, only remaining Reatta) has started to die while driving it. Wait a few minutes or sometimes longer and it will start right up. Around the time this started, the remotes stopped working. Changed the batteries and still not working. Sounded like a RKE/alarm issue. Alarm is factory installed. I checked the Brake Module for a green ground wire to follow the instructions for reprogramming but could not find one. I did find a two conductor connector off the harness that enters the module (see picture). There seems to be a 2 Meg resistor shorted across the two conductors (2 white wires paralleled on one conductor and one red with white stripe wire on the other conductor). The key has a 1.1k resistor so I'm not sure what this other resistor has to do with anything. I'm not sure if this is factory installed or not (suspect not). Not sure if the drivers lock has anything to do with this as I've seen the thread to clean that out (and haven't done that yet). But before I go disassembling the door (if its a lock issue) or disassembling the trunk (looking for a green wire) I wanted to ask if anyone has seen anything like this? Thanks in advance for your help. David
