  1. Hello everybody, I'm currently working on a 63 riv and was wondering if anyone could post a picture of there vacuum hose setup or send me a vacuum hose diagram via e-mail for the 401 single carb? Thanks.
  2. Hello, I am needing a new Vacuum advance for a 1957 Special. I have found several NOS ones of ebay for pretty cheap, but i am worried the inside rubber is no better than mine. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to find a newly made one that is fairly cheap. I've looked but haven't had much luck. Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Brandon.
  3. Hey All, I am in the process of rebuilding a 64 and would like to convert my heater/ac unit to heater only. I have the control unit from a heater only car but can't find a vacuum diagram. I am looking for something like what is on page 11-79 but for a heater only car. My 64 chassis manual doesn't seem to have the info. The car had a bad heater core so I had the center console out to replace that. Since I had the console out I figure I should remove the dash to fix the cracks which led to fixing the leak in the back window. Some how a wood trim kit ended up in the mix. The torn drivers s
  4. I have a wide range of NOS wiper motors mostly pre 1960... priced from $45.00 to 80.00 newer models tend to be cheaper. send note for year you are looking for and I let you know If I have what you need...
  5. Hello, I have an emergency tire pump that dates from the thirties. You would remove a spark plug from the engine and plug the pump in and fill up your tire. I have the original box it came in, which shows the name of the company (forget what it says at the moment.) Does anyone have any idea how much something like this is worth? I don't know if it works, but I don't know that it doesn't, either. Appreciate any thoughts/comments you all have. I can post pictures. I also have a vacuum cleaner that works much the same way. Thank you, Oldies, aka Wayne.
  6. Finally made it to a junk yard and found a 3300 with a decent vacuum port (the plastic part that sits atop the throttle body adapter). My Reatta came with one that had a couple flanges broken off and I've had doubts that the jimmied tube connections were really airtight. My question: Should some kind of sealant or adhesive or gasket go between the plastic part and the metal adapter body? The one on my car seemed to have a sealant, but the one on the junker didn't. Is a good silicon adhesive enough to make it an airtight and heatproof connection? Thanks!
