  2. How would I know for sure what carburetor was originally installed on my 1966 Charger? A former owner lost the original carb years ago; he installed an Edlebrock 4-bbl. The 361-cid V-8 was available with a 2-bbl only in '66. If I was to seek an original mid- to late '60's 2-bbl carb and intake manifold, how would I verify its authenticity? That said, I don't mind the 4-bbl carb on this car, but it must be stock, like the 4-bbl carb installed on the 383-cid engine option for this car. I'll be heading to the Mopar Nationals this weekend and plan to browse through the vendors and get me a genuine 1960's 4-bbl and air cleaner setup. I need help identifying the parts I want. Getting a right-side rear-view mirror is easy, the engine stuff is a challenge for me. Thanks, folks.

The versatile Superweave material features unsurpassed moisture, dust and pollutant protection. The encapsulation technology goes INSIDE the fabric, around the fibers, resulting in a silky smooth finish that glides over fine paint finishes. Superweave is also dust-proof so it will keep your car clean whether it is stored indoors or out. It still remains exceptionally breathable, allowing moisture and heat to escape. When rain hits the cover it simply runs right off and any moisture left on the cover will usually dry in about 10 minutes. Its unique lightweight design also enables it to fold up to 1/3 the size of your typical outdoor car cover. 9. WTB 67-70 Riveria GS in strong number 2+ condition with pedigree and documentation. 1970 GS is my first choice. My consider non GS as well. Original , restored or semi restored all fine. Significant rust or rust repair is out. Prefer high option cars , must have working AC. Prefer oem metallic colors , no tan, baby blue, brown etc. I'm on west coast so prefer western region cars first. Restored cars will require photo and expense documentation, low mileage cars should include paper work or history to confirm mileage represented, no stories or conjecture. Have funds in hand will travel or have inspected, rack inspection required. Garrett 408 489 7928
  10. I finally found one!!! Had to go to Florida to get it, but I needed to make a road trip. It's a 1966 A-100, the previous owner was going to make a "Little Red Wagon" type vehicle out of it. He had stripped down, ready to start it's restification. Unfortunately, he passed away before any more could be done to it. My plans are to put it back reasonably close to stock, using it's "leaning tower of power" & automatic. Body work will start sometime early next year. Enjoy the pics. I will update as progress is made.

  24. My son, an AACA member, who is 17 years old, would like to start restoring his own car (not just help dad with his old Dodge Brothers and Hudson). He would like a 63 Split Window Corvette (wouldn't we all), but I convinced him to consider any 63-67 year Vette. Would like a "driver" but one that needs to be restored or worked on. I don't know if we will ever find one he (meaning him and I) can afford, but we are looking. The prices are all over the place, mostly too high or the car's frame is so rusted the car isn't even held together. Frankly, we are looking for a reasonably priced car. One he can enjoy for a "lifetime." We are not looking to "flip" a car or hotrod. We will restore it to original. I know my son's tastes are a little expensive, but I'm willing to help him with purchase and restoration. (Don't laugh out loud, but when I asked him what his second choice was, he said Pierce Arrow. We will save that for another day or lifetime. I better stop taking him to AACA meets.) Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
  25. Hi! I'm looking for a decent, useable '66 Cutlass rear bumper. Thanks in advance. Tim tltlflynn@sbcglobal.net
