I am not a car guy. My grandfather purchased this 1964 4 door, hard top, diplomat blue, Wildcat. I inherited it many years ago and enjoyed it for a while. It has about 70k miles on it. However, I had to garage it about 5 years ago being newly married, young kids and all that goes with it. I hate leaving it there and know that its not good for the car. So I'm looking to sell it. A local classic car guy said he'd give me 1k for it. I've done some research online regarding value, but I'd love to get feedback from Buick experts as to how I should go about selling this car. Any advice is much appreciated.

There is no rust through on this Riviera , two or three ares with surface rust only where the paint peeled off , where the paint peeled off on the hood there is primer under it. no rust. Under chassis is good, panels have under seal, frame and exhaust has normal light surface rust. Body is real straight, a couple of small dings on the trunk lid, hard to see. This Buick had a bad paint job done on it and it started to crack an peel off(may have been Lacquer) and someone shot it with primer which it is peeling off. You have a real solid and straight body to work with. The chrome in the interior needs some help but all there. the bumpers. side chrome and head and tail light chrome is in good to very good shape. Hi, I am new to the group and need some help and info. I am restoring a 1964 Buick electra 225. It has bench seats and I am converting to Buckets and a center console. I have obtained the console but need any info including detailed drawings of how the console is mounted and the linkage to the transmission. If there are real world Pix of a members restoration showing how the console is installed I would appreciate anything available out there. Thanks Larry
