  1. (3) 1962 DKW junior package deal. All the floors are rotten and deteriorated, no motors, 2 transmissions, all windshields are cracked, side glass and back glass are good in all 3, 1 set of tail light bezels, 3 rear bumpers, 2 front bumpers, have all seats, 2 dash clusters. Car #2 RR qtr is crushed / caved in. All three roofs got caved in a little (slightly) due to heavy wet snow falling off the trees they sat under for nearly 30 yrs. My Grandpa acquire them about 1974-1975, my father and I acquired them in 1984. I have titles for all three, they need to find a new home. select link for Youtube or search < 1962 DKW junior for sale Spokane WA > http://youtu.be/HFb2j0ADLpQ #DKWspokane #AUTOUNION #DKWjunior #DKW #micro #mini #car $3350.00 OBO

  3. Hi guy's, I need a rear bumper and a right front fender for a 1962 dodge custom 800. Preferably in good condition - at least not beat up. I'm - willing to re-chrome and repair small imperfections in the fender. Pics would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim Note; A 1962 chrysler newport rear bumper is identical, I'll buy that if it's in good shape
  4. What a rare treasure! Only 2,000 of these cars were ever produced! This is a mid-year car. In 1962 the Wildcat was a Buick Invicta subseries, mating the Invicta's longer full-size two-door hardtop Buick body (known as the "sport coupe," body production code 4647) with a high-performance 325 hp (242 kW) version of the 401 cu in (7 l) Nailhead V8, known as the Wildcat 445 for producing 445 of torque. To further distance itself from the Invicta, the Wildcat had Electra 225-like taillights, a bucket seat interior, a center console with tachometer and transmission shifter. It had the famous Dynaflow transmission shared by all full-size Buicks, plus special exterior side trim, vinyl-covered roof (new for 1962), and its own unique emblem: a stylized head of a wild cat, located on each of the C-pillars. However, the Wildcat did share the LeSabre's and Invicta's trio of VentiPorts on the front fenders, a design cue lasting only through the 1963 model year. The car is straight with only two small exterior rust spots. The interior is in great condition with one place in the carpet that is imperfect. It runs well. It has all the original hub caps and emblems. The gas gauge does not work. Asking $9,800 Please email me at SRL7698@hotmail.com for additional pictures.

  8. I am in the process of buying a 1961 Buick Special from a friend of mine, but the only problem is it needs a fuel tank. I've been searching all over the internet for a solution. Can anyone direct me to a place where I can find one? Or maybe if anyone knows of where to get a replacement fuel tank for this vehicle? I would greatly appreciate it and thank you! Bobby

  11. The Selection Committee of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2nd Annual Celebration of Cars has asked us to display our 1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 convertible at the invitation only event on May 10-12. Invitations went out to only 200 invitees. As a part of the festivities we get to make a parade lap around the famous brickyard. I do not know if ours will be the only Oldsmobile on the show field? However, I am absolutely certain we shall be the only 1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 convertible!
  12. Hey All, I just joined the forum and I'm excited to dive into my Mercury Comet project. Picked it up in November from my mother-in-law. My father-in-law passed away a short time ago and this was his restoration project. I was fortunate enough to be asked if i was interested in the car and I jumped on it. I've been thinking about getting a car to restore when my kids are done with college (one just finished and the other is a Junior) so the timing is about right. I'm hoping to make many friends here and learn a little at the same time. Here's a picture of "Ruby" (named by my father-in-law), my 62 Comet. More are at my web site linked below. 16. Ive been seeing alot of old cars that have been junked for the money. A old car will normally bring 4-500 dollars scrapped out. The guys buying them will only offer 1-200 dollars fro them. This is a shame. Soon there will be no original parts available. I bought a old 1962 rambler ambassador thinking I might restore, I think it looks cool. And its in good shape. Ac, power windows, body in good shape, motor complete. Missing front and rear window. Now the wife is after me to get rid of it I know I will not have the time to fix up. Dont know if anyone is interested in parts you can contact me. I will sell any and all parts or complete. thanks ken Let me know if in your opinion it a good idea to save these old cars?
