  1. Hi! I just could not resist starting this thread after finding a picture of a 1957 Buick Hearse. I can see on Buick Net (Buick Models for 1957) That it was ordered about 1058 stripped chassis based on Special, Super and Roadmaster (Non from Century 60 Series?). What happened to this cars, who ordered theme and what type of body where they given. Besides this hearse, I have seen one ambulance for sale in Texas some time ago. Regret that I did`nt buy it -to late to day. I like to encourage you to comment this thread and it would be nice if we could add some pictures as well. The thread with the postcards with different motive from all over US showing 1957 Buick Models was excellent. So - join in, did the stripped chassis end up as ambulances, hearses (Flower cars), Fire Dept vehicles, Police cars etc..... Looking forward to see what you got! 4. Hi, I'm trying to get my '57 Century back on the road after sitting for 10 years...but my gas tank rotted out! The top is full of holes, I doubt I can repair it. Anybody ot there have a usable tank, or know of a yard that might have a usable tank? For less than a thousand dollars? I was quoted $995 from a yard in Nevada plus shipping! I'm in Connecticut, so I can pick it up or remove it from a donor car if you're in the New England area. Thanks, JB
  5. Hi all you 1957 1958 Buick enthusiasts! I am cleaning up the and like to sell out some of the parts I have at my friends shop in Tempe AZ. I here just a week, so I wil try to post what I have. I have parts from a 57 Four door HT Century which incl: 1 Dynaflow transmission in quite good condition some few parts from a 73 Roadmaster Four door HT 3 good bumperguard ends 2 frontgrill and upper grillbar lip in nice shape and condition, one Century and one Roadmaster frontbumperguard for Century + Roadmaster 2 complete finned aluminum brakedrums, with backplate, brakes etc.. 1 good hood for the Century 1 four barrel intake in very good condition SOLD! 2 good vacumtanks SOLD! + a lot of other parts, some good once and some for restoring.
