  1. My dad bought a 1923 Oldsmobile truck from his uncle in 1993. He is the 3rd owner of this truck. It was running great but recently started having engine problems. Does anyone know of someone near Jacksonville, FL that would be will to do some engine repair? We are having a hard time because no one will touch it. I am hoping we can find someone to help us get it back on the road. My sisters & I love riding in it with our kids!
  2. This very unique and rare truck is complete. Price is $4,500. For complete details and additional photos, go to www.oldcars.fotki.com Worldwide delivery is available.
  3. I have a chassis minus engine and transmission for sale that I have been told is a 1938 Chevrolet 3/4 ton. I will attemp to add pictures to this ad, but if I'm not successful please email me at gearheadgalaxy2@centurylink.net to have me send the photos. Please note the wheels on the rear as I would suspect they are difficult to find?? I live in the middle of Missouri near Interstate 70 - so easy access to pick up. Would ship within the U.S. if you make all arrangements and pay. I would like to have $250 for the chassis - Thanks for looking at this and if I am incorrect on the year, model, or even the make, please let me know so that I can correct it!
  4. My wifes grandfather is fianally going to sell his 1953 Chev 1300 series Half Ton Truck. His father was the original owner and was barely used. It has 53000 original miles. The truck has been stored indoors for the past 15 years but has sat outside before that. Yes there is lots of surface rust and some patches of rust spots through. Still has all of its original parts. The fender and grill are in the truck bed. The rad has been stored in the farm house. IT was always his intent to restore it but now due to his age and health he cannot. He hopes someone will buy it and have it restored. Selling for $1000 CDN. Located in Petworth Ontario Canada. Just 30 north/west of Alexandrea Bay. You can email me or call him directly at. I have pictures if you are interested. Les @ 613-377-6455 Thank you

For sale: 1950 GMC pickup truck, series 150, beautiful red paint, with red upholstery, original, correct, 6 cylinder original 228" engine, 101715 miles, floor shift, with beautiful curved front accessory grill guard which is very rare...(bet you've never seen one before). This is a California truck, from a dry section of California with ZERO rust. It has beautiful oak bed with shiny stainless fittings. Rear end has been changed from 4.56 to 3.90 so it goes down the highway better. Also has accessory visor over the front windshield and accessory dash mounted fan which works. Original GMC factory radio! One family owned since new until I bought it. I don't think you will find a nicer truck than this. It is ready to enter into car shows. 8. My husband and I just aquired a 1963 GMC pickup(305 v6). Well it needed a new throwout bearing, so we took the tranny out and got the clutch out...Come to find out it has an 11" clutch and we can't find that anywhere. Everyone is saying it should be 10.4",10.5", or 12". We have found 2 11" online for upwards of $400. My question, is this normal? can we fit a 10.5" on it? are we in for a long restore? TIA
  9. I have recovered this tire and am guessing its a 30 something for a Chevy truck...anyone have a better guess?

  14. 1959 Chevy 1/2 Ton Truck 3 Speed Rebuilt V8 This truck went through a house fire in 1989 after it was 90% restored. I have hung on to it because it was a family heirloom plus the engine has just been rebuilt. I need the space and money! While the fire destroyed the truck interior and burnt off the exterior paint, it did not hurt the engine (did not even blister the paint on the valve covers) - a 283 V8 with factory 2 barrel and 3 on the tree. $500 for the entire truck and you trailer it away. I can get a duplicate title - it was lost in the house fire - you pay the various fees. Or I will help you pull the engine and repaint it (I have already bought the orange and black rattle cans of engine paint) for $500. You will never be able to rebuild any small block for this price - you can just drop it in and GO. This is a steal and if you snooze you will lose!!!!!!!!!!!! Transmission for $100, other good mechanical parts (drums, wheels, axles, steering box, drive shaft, rear end, springs, frame, etc) - inquire, sheet metal in fair weathered surface rust shape (doors will need metal repair)- inquire - short step side bed (this was the final part I was working on at the time of the fire) - inquire. No glass or really usable interior parts other than gas tank and seat frame. I have a set of front fender chrome spears for the truck as well - $30 for the set. I have a set of 4 vintage cast aluminum wheels for this truck that were bought new in 1989 - $500 - good offers? I have a bunch of pictures and can supply special picture requests - send me your email address. Truck is located 30 miles north of Dallas Texas. I am an 1949 Oldsmobile 98 fellow so I will NEVER restore or rebuild this truck but the funds and space could be for more Oldsmobile parts for my baby..... Ron ronald.draper@gmail.com

  17. I'm in need of at least one 16" truck wheel for my 1952 Dodge Pilothouse's spare tire. This is a 5 lug wheel on a 4.5" circle. I believe mine are 5.5 or 6" wide. Since some of my hubcap clips are missing, I'm also looking for hubcap clips particular to Dodges of that vintage. Not sure if anyone makes those but thought I'd throw it out there, just in case.. Thanks! Email or PM is fine. Rem whybcuz@yahoo.com

  20. 1922 Model 15 White 3/4 Ton Truck. Located in Mackinaw City, Michigan. I don't know a whole lot about this vehicle, but I have this information from a letter in 1959 regarding this vehicle from The White Motor Company. "The model 15 was built up of units throughout which were of White design and White build and the vehicle is equipped with ball bearings at practically all points where the use of an 'anti-friction' bearing is indicated. Ordinarily the model 15 was powered with a GK White engine equipped with a model TBC White transmission and a GBBE White rear axle. The engine is a 3-3/4 bore, 5-1/8 stroke, four cylinder job and develops around 30 horsepower. The crankshaft main bearings are large ball bearings. The transmission is a four-speed overdrive in fourth underneath with straight spur gearing throughout. The rear axle is single reduction running on ball bearings and ordinarily was supplied in a gear ratio of around 5.33 to 1." -White Motor Company, July 22, 1958- I have the original manual in between sheet protectors and secured. Some pages are torn but most of the original manual is there. Would need a trailer to pick up as the max speed I believe on this vehicle is 17MPH and shouldn't be driven to preserve the condition. If you have any additional questions or information on this vehicle, please feel free to contact me. I am currently asking $50,000.00 or best offer. Thanks!!! PLEASE EMAIL FOR THE PICTURES AS I AM UNSURE HOW TO POST ON HERE.
