  5. For Sale - 2 trunkback sedans. These cars are in #4 condition and need restoration. They are solid and have engines that run. One needs a clutch and still has the original paint. Both could be completely restored. I have decided I'll just never spend the time or the money required (I own 9 cars). One I have owned for 24 years...the other for about 3 years. I'll sell both for $8,500. Virtually every part is still there on each car. Please, serious inquiries only. Call Rick on cell at 540-246-5181 or reach at larsonrjk@aol.com

  7. 53 Buick Solid Spoke Steering, horn components help Anyone had experience with this? There are some missing pieces, that don't seem to be manufactured anymore. I believe I am missing: 1. some kind of spring under the horn cup (attaches to plastic steering wheel housing and pushes up the cup. 2. a strap that goes on top of the horn button piece connected to the wire. It is called a retainer in other horns, and might be a few pieces, a strap with a retainer on each side. Anyone have a pic on the missing parts or a lead? Have searched and called some. Any

We are new to restoration, but not new to cars in general. We'd thought we'd add a link to our blog in case there's any interest. We'd love to hear from you! 1939 Buick Special Restoration Eric and Elizabeth
  9. Hello, I’ve put up a couple of posts for my two cars (trying to learn more). I have a 1936 Buick special series 40 with 233 cube. I wanted to know, when I first start the engine cold, I get a high oil pressure reading of about 45lbs. (according to the gauge in the car) As the engine gets hot (1 hour drive, does not overheat stays around 180 degrees in summer) the oil pressure gauge goes to 30lbs at speeds around 45mph and 20lbs at idle. Is this anything to worry about? I am using SAE-30. No oil filter installed. Engine has no knock. Oil is dripping out of the valve train when I take off valve

  17. Hello, I am trying to sell a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe. It has 77k. It is green with a white interior and was in pristine condition needing only a starter until about 3 1/2 years ago when it was left in the grass to rot away.
