  1. I have some NOS parts for '50s thru '70s Chevy/GMC trucks I have 4 NOS wheel bearings which I believe are front inner bearings for 1954-59 Chevy GMC 1.5/2 ton trucks. They may also fit others. The # is 7450335. I would like $15 each and would prefer to sell pairs. Or I would sell all 4 for $40. I also have PN 3773149 CHEVROLET HOSE CLUTCH SLAVE CYL 60-66 TRK (C-NOTE) 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 $10 PN 3705288 shows as 1936-1952 Chevy Utility & 1 Ton Rear Wheel Cylinder Adjusting Pinion Kit $15 pr. NOS breather - I have not yet been able to ID this 100% as the part # tab is torn off. I did find a filter that appears the same as what goes in this and it was listed as being for a GMC truck('60s?) $10 If somebody would take all these parts, I would sell everything for $50

  3. My father has owned a '36 GMC for as long as I can remember, and it has been sitting in the garage waiting for it's restoration for just as long. I'm trying to spur him to finally get to work on the rig but wanted some advice from the folks here first on the viability of going back to all original as compared to some other option. Here's what I know, sorry for no pics but he's half a country away at present so I cannot take any and he is not computer literate. Body, bed and fenders are fully intact, I believe he also has many trim items like bumpers, grille, door handles, wheel mounts, and so on. Body has very little rust and is re-primered every so many years. Chassis is intact. No engine or transmission. No interior or seats. No dash components or gauges. No glass. This will not be done to show standards, just a truck for my pops to run around in and have fun cruising. It won't be built for resell so that doesn't factor in, it will be handed down through the family. He will accordingly not be looking to spend "restoration" dollars on this, and we will be doing most or all of the work. I am just starting to look into this for him and you're my first stop for info. What is parts availability on a truck like this, even repro? Of the items mentioned, what missing parts will be the hardest to locate either used or repro? Where are the best places to look, there is a company that advertises on Speed Channel for their old truck catalogs but those don't cover this age of GMC. What is the best engine option if we want to go for near original, whats out there? Is this truck destined to become a street or rat rod or can it be made whole for reasonable cost, that's what I'm after. If all else fails he may put the body on a modern diesel chassis (keeping all the unused parts) and leave it to the next generation to restore if it comes to that. Also does anyone know the numbers these were made in or an estimate about how many survive today, or are registered? Thank you!
  4. I'm trying to sell my 1953 GMC tow truck. Thing is in amazing condition, always garaged, taken well care of and tastefully restored! The interior is great on this truck and hasn't had animals or anything like that in it, no smokers. The exhaust has been turned into custom dual exhaust, which gives it that nice burly sound. It has 86,XXX original miles on it, has a 270 engine in it and a manual 4 speed transmission. Everything on the truck works. The pics don't lie this truck is very clean and well taken care of and never abused! I'm asking 23,000 for it but of course O.B.O. I just want this truck to go to a good home and to be well taken care of, it used to be shown in California and won 1st or 2nd in it's class, was recently this summer at the local classic truck show in Donald. Sadly, tough times and not enough time causes me to sell. Please e-mail me for any questions, info, more photos anything!

For sale: 1950 GMC pickup truck, series 150, beautiful red paint, with red upholstery, original, correct, 6 cylinder original 228" engine, 101715 miles, floor shift, with beautiful curved front accessory grill guard which is very rare...(bet you've never seen one before). This is a California truck, from a dry section of California with ZERO rust. It has beautiful oak bed with shiny stainless fittings. Rear end has been changed from 4.56 to 3.90 so it goes down the highway better. Also has accessory visor over the front windshield and accessory dash mounted fan which works. Original GMC factory radio! One family owned since new until I bought it. I don't think you will find a nicer truck than this. It is ready to enter into car shows.   6. My husband and I just aquired a 1963 GMC pickup(305 v6). Well it needed a new throwout bearing, so we took the tranny out and got the clutch out...Come to find out it has an 11" clutch and we can't find that anywhere. Everyone is saying it should be 10.4",10.5", or 12". We have found 2 11" online for upwards of $400. My question, is this normal? can we fit a 10.5" on it? are we in for a long restore? TIA
