  2. For Sale: 1958 Packard sedan - $5,500 - Rocheport, MO - Project https://columbiamo.craigslist.org/cto/d/rocheport-barn-find-packard/7213174476.html For your consideration is a 1958 PACKARD 4 door sedan......a true barn find in excellent condition considering its age. This was the last year for the PACKARD name badge. It is model #58L-Y8 and only 1200 were produced. Serial number of this car is 58L-7912; the last Packard produced was S/N 58L-8134 meaning on 222 cars separate this car from the last car produced; this car may be the representative car of the last Packard ever produced. The only dent is in the rear bumper; see photos. All trim is excellent. Hubcaps still have the red Packard hexagon in the center. Restored, this car would be a real eye catcher; as many shows as I've attended I've never seen one. This car can be restored or resto-modded and your investment will be minimal considering the condition of the body. Comes with freshened Studebaker 289 engine and 3 speed automatic transmission (both outside the car). This is an air conditioned car but it would need to be repaired/replaced. The original hounds tooth decor remains in the trunk. I am the third owner of this car with 56000 actual miles. 9. $18,980 www.DrukAutoSales.com 763-355-5511 This is a very unique car that is truly amazing to look at. If you want to have a custom show champion car, this is the one for you! 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix ''Big Chief''. Truly one of a kind and a exotic head turner. Custom built by Dick Krieger back in the 1970's, this is sure to grab the attention of anyone. It took 3.5 years to complete and 15 months of that was just on the interior alone. There is a tone of chrome and metal flake in the paint on this beauty than anything else you ever seen before. Done with a Native America theme inside and out, top and bottom. Even the underside of this car is completely done. Custom paint work and chrome to impress anyone. The interior is a customer velour with very impressive details throughout, including Chicago Blackhawks decals on each of the door panels. The trunk has a hidden ''village'' and again very detailed. Under the hood there is believe to be 421 Cu In. V8 with Tri Power, but the numbers have been all chromed over and looks amazing! The chrome on the bumpers, door handles, ect are engraved with Indian head dresses and other scenery that are very impressive. Truly a car that would be almost an automatic win at car shows when it shows up. This is something that you must see in person! FaceTime walk around are available! 14. I'm starting this ongoing thread to allow you to alert any prospective buyers to Reattas for sale on Craigslist. These are ads that a person might not otherwise find. This thread could also be used to ask other forum members questions about Reattas that might be available in areas they don't have access to that are listed on Craigslist. The title of your post should include a short description, the model year of the car, and the location of the car. Don't forget to include a link to the Craigslist ad in your post. You're not responsible for anything other than letting others know what's out there. It's up to them to make contact and get details. Posting an ad for a Reatta on Craigslist is pretty easy. Find a Reatta on Craigslist that you think is interesting. Then while viewing the Craigslist ad, right-click on the address bar at the top of your web browser and copy the link. Reply to this thread and type in a descriptive title for the Craigslist ad. Paste the link to the Craigslist ad you copied below the title of the ad. After that you can add details about the ad if you like or even a photo. Give it a try you can't hurt anything. If it doesn't turn out the way you want it can be deleted and you can do it again. Have fun! Only ads for Reattas and Reatta related items found on Craigslist should be posted in this thread.

  17. It's not often I see a nice old Buick for sale right by me. This one is parked at a transmission shop for sale. I called the owner and talked to him and he seems like a really nice guy. The car is just parked there for advertisement since he lives right behind the shop, not work, although he says he had transmission and clutch repaired years ago. He bought it from his neighbor's wife after her husband passed away about 10 years ago. He said the cosmetic restoration was done by prior owner. He remembers it being green before the prior owner painted it. Being rainy I couldn't get a good look at everything, but it presented fairly well. It looks like all of the chrome had been done. Owner says it runs and drives well. He says he thinks there is bondo in it, but not sure of extent. I didn't see any obvious indication of cracking bondo or anything. He says it's always been garaged prior to sitting out there now, and it looks like it. He is asking $17k. I can inspect it and even test drive it if anyone is seriously interested. I'll probably stop and take a closer look anyway when it's not raining.

  25. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/roswell-1954-hudson-hornet-historic/7212859576.html 1954 Hudson Hornet Hollywood, "Molta Casta"Radical customization done when new for one of Detroit's "high society" members, Harold Du Charme of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The Du Charme family was the oldest known French family in Detroit, dating back to the days when the French were the early settlers of the area. Harold was associated with Hudson as a large stockholder and who also owned a huge office building located in downtown Detroit. He rubbed elbows with all the area's top businessmen, including Henry Ford II, and lived next door to Hudson President A.E. Barit. In 1947, Harold bought a Defoe Cruisemaster yacht "Natoya", and at 118 feet long it was one of the longest yachts in the Detroit area (used in the James Bond movie "Thunderball" under the guise of "Disco Volante").In October 1953, Harold purchased a brand new 1954 Hudson Hornet Hollywood at a cost of $3,000. Aside from the Brougham convertible and the Italian-bodied custom Italia, it was the most expensive Hudson offered that year. Harold was not happy with the designs coming from his favorite automaker. Feeling that declining sales could be strengthened by restyling the step-down body, he had the car picked up at the factory and delivered to one of the more prominent customizing shops in Detroit, located on St. Clair Street on Detroit's East Side. There, the top was chopped 2.5 inches, the mid section was channeled by four inches, the stock hood was removed and replaced by a reshaped 1948 Hudson hood with ventilators installed, the headlights were hooded with two air intakes formed below (as an extension of the custom egg-crate grille), and both bumpers were highly modified. The trunk was section to conform to the new lower silhouette, with a continental spare tire fared into it. A 30-gallon gas tank was fabricated, the rear fenders were extended and wrapped slightly to hold Lincoln taillights. Electric door opening buttons were hidden. Topping it off was a set of five wire wheels mounted with wide whitesidewall tires. It was painted dark metallic green when new, then later changed to silver with black top with the Du Charme family coat of arms hand-painted on each door. According to a letter written by Harold Du Charme, he spent $7,000, which more than likely included the $3,000 purchase price. It was then given the nickname "Molta Casta" by one of his close friends, which is Italian for "very clean.Apparently he was able to capture the attention of Hudson executives, as original photos taken by Hudson Chief Designer Frank Spring depict the car in the back of Hudson engineering department with some Hudson managers looking on.In the past 60 years, the car has had just two owners. Harold was very fond of the car, but because of a broken back and his difficulty in handling it, he sold it. It currently has just 56,000 miles on the odometer, and retains its original Twin-H 308cid/160hp flathead six-cylinder powerplant. It also retains its original interior. While the car is complete and solid, it is in need of a full restoration.Call me612-804-9406 VIN: 7D7284235 condition: fair cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 52000 title status: clean transmission: automatic
