  1. Interesting paint scheme, but all in all doesn't look like a bad car for the money. 65 Riviera, verde green with black deluxe interior. Interior all original except new carpet. All interior chrome and trim present and in outstanding condition, dash has no cracks or splits. Seats good except a place on drivers seat bottom and some piping on side of drivers seat has split. Has the optional 425 single four barrel engine with a posi rearend. This drivetrain is lower production than the GS option ( rarer ). Also has power windows, tilt wheel, AC ( works but not charged ). Headlight doors work perfect. Power four drum brakes, some say old cars need discs but this car stops fine with these big drums. Solid original body panels, trunk, floors, rockers, quarters, all solid no rust. Engine detailed with many new updates but staying stock. Has wire hubcaps installed but comes with a set of Buick road wheels ( no center caps ). Has an older single stage repaint ( probably in 80's ). Many new parts ( too much to list here ), runs and drives great. Also have owners manual, potecto plate and service manuals. More details and or pics upon request.

  3. *SOLD* There certainly aren't many hobby cars with the massive public acceptance of the 2-seat Ford Thunderbird. Everyone knows what it is, everyone thinks they're cool, and everyone should have one at some point or another. It's an American institution, despite Ford's mismanagement of the name in later years, and as a hobby car, they're pretty hard to beat. Great looks, V8 power, and a long options list to make it your own. Personally, I like the '56s the best, which preserve the early look but add many notable upgrades that were earned in the trenches as the public beta-tested the 1955s. At any rate, this handsome Colonial White 'Bird was restored about 12 years ago and has been driven about 5000 miles since it was completed. What that means is that it's ideal if you want a finished, quality car to drive, not a trailer queen and not a project. The paint and bodywork are quite nice and holding up well, with the only notable wear showing on the spare tire cover, which, inexplicably, has a few bumps a bruises. Otherwise it's straight and shiny with decent gaps all around (the doors are a little out at the bottom, but I see this on almost every 'Bird). The chrome is also quite nice, with great bumpers and grille and good lenses in the jet-age taillights. The only other possible demerit is some very light pitting on the hood scoop's chrome. The two-tone red and white interior is a fantastic choice with Colonial White, looking acceptably flashy for the T-Bird's mission. The seats, carpets, and door panels were all replaced when the car was restored and still look great and the gauges remain bright and easy to read. You'll note an under-dash A/C unit, which is a modern piece designed to look vintage as well as an AM/FM/cassette stereo in the center of the dash, but those are the lone modifications. It also features power windows and a power seat, and everything works except the clock. Behind the seat you'll find a white vinyl convertible top with a beautifully restored frame and it does come with a matching "porthole" hardtop. In the trunk, there's a correct mat and jack assembly and before you ask about the spare, remember that it's hanging on the rear bumper on all 1956 Thunderbirds. The engine is a 312 cubic inch P-code V8, which means a 4-barrel carburetor and 225 horsepower. It was rebuilt when the car was restored and with so few miles on the clock it obviously runs very well. It starts easily and idles well, even when it's cold, and aside from some flaking paint on the intake manifold, the engine bay looks good enough that you'll open the hood every chance you get. Note that this car also carries power steering and power brakes, making it very easy to drive and a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission snaps off crisp shifts. Looks like there are 3.00 gears out back, so it's also a comfortable highway cruiser. The exhaust is a correct reproduction setup that sounds right and they wisely used turn-downs behind the bumper rather than routing the exhaust through the bumper as original, which always tends to discolor the chrome. Flashy Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels look so good they should have been standard equipment and they're wrapped in Coker wide whitewall radials. You may have noticed that early 'Bird prices are once again inching up. No, this one won't make you rich overnight, but I think the worst is behind us if you're a 'Bird lover. The last one I sold, a black '57, wasn't this nice and sold for more than the $29,900 asking price on this one, so I think it looks pretty attractive today. Thanks for looking!

  25. After years of enjoyment I am selling my 1963 Riviera. It is a turn-key driver.....a "20-footer", not a show car. There is rust in the rear quarters and trunk floor. The Riv was originally a silver blue color, but was repainted white long ago. The interior is dark blue. It has the 401 engine, Dynaflow, and positraction rearend. Nicely Optioned: -Deluxe interior - back seat is original leather, front buckets were re-done in vinyl years ago -4 note horns (The long trumpet isn't installed, but I have it) -Cruise control (intact, but not working) -Speed indicator -Glove box trunk release (not working) -Power windows and seats -Cornering lights -Wonderbar radio with power antenna -Remote mirror -Tilt steering collumn I have a few do-dads that I have purchased for the car over the years, but never took the time to install. These items include a few missing trim pieces and emblems, new wood grain veneer for the interior panels, glove box door (nicer than what is on the car), map light fixture with lens, round interior light lens, and maybe a couple other items. The air cleaner has the wrong decal..."465 Wildcat" instead of "445 Wildcat". I am not trying to fool anyone. I had purchased a restored air cleaner that already had the 425 decal. I am located in Quilcene, WA. Please send me a PM if interested. I do not have internet access 24/7 like so many people do, so please be patient for a reply. Price is $6,500 cash
