  11. I'm willing to try to start an ongoing thread that would alert any prospective buyers to what I would call deals on earlier Rivieras that a person might not otherwise find. I'd also think that it could be used to ask others who are looking to see what's in areas to which they don't have access unless they're willing to look at every city that has a Craigslist. Don't post anything other than a title and a link. You're not responsible for anything other than letting others know what's out there. It's up to them to make contact and get details. I'll start with this one: a 1966 Gran Sport in Cole Camp, Missouri (Central close to the Lake of the Ozarks.)
  12. Yes, Its mine. Might do some swapping but no junk. PM me for any questions or phone info.
  13. I have a 1939 Chrysler “cruise and climb” Overdrive transmission. It came out of a ‘39 New Yorker and I was keeping it as a spare for my ‘39 Imperial but it’s been almost 10 years and I haven’t needed it yet...”Kiss of Death, I know”... Anyway, I’m not sure if this transmission will fit all ‘39 Chrysler products or just the Straight Eight cars...nor do I know if the Overdrive unit is interchangeable with other Chrysler products from that era. It is the Overdrive that is the real jewel here as it makes these cars so much more drivable as both the eights and the sixes can cruise down the road at highway speeds without issue. My Imperial has the standard 4.30:1 rear end ratio (the non O/D cars had 3.90:1 gears) and even with these 4.30’s (short leg gears) I can still drive her all day at 75 MPH with ease. I’ve actually thought about swapping out the 4.30’s for the 3.90’s to make it even more highway friendly but would hate to lose the low end. If anyone has more knowledge of the interchangeability of these transmissions or even the actual Overdrive unit, or is interested in the complete transmission please let me know. Thanks.
  14. Currently removing parts from 34 Oldsmobile's from 1952 to 1959. Dry western desert country. This includes 88,Super 88 and 98 models. Sedans,Wagons,2 door and 4 door hardtops as well as two convertibles. Can ship larger items. Please send me a private message as I do get alerts. This should avoid missing anyone. These cars are from Idaho. From an era and state that did not use road salt when these cars were on the road. Still lots of good pot metal and sheet metal. Very little remaining glass. Will trade for 1931 1932 1933 Auburn parts. Thank you, Glenn
  15. A nice driver class of Buick to take to chapter events, show, and just enjoy trips around town. My favorite drive in a Buick convertible is when a thunderstorm is approaching, or in the spring after the lilacs are blooming, or deep fall, when winter is around the corner but the leaves are seasonally in stride.
  16. . My 1928 Buick Mater Town Brougham. Had several offers of trade-ins but I don't need projects now at my age and physical condition.. The history of this car is unique. 19. For sale is a very nice original 1963 tail light lens. The lens has nice bright plastic with no surface scratches or chips. I had purchased this from one of our very reputable Riviera parts vendors as a spare. I no longer need this as I found an NOS lens for my car and will have a spare once the NOS lens is installed. I paid $30.00 for this but, will sell if for $20.00 plus S & H as I discovered a very fine hairline crack on the right edge which the vendor and I had missed when it was first purchased. I don' think this will be visible when in the bezel. Still a really nice lens. Please PM me if interested. Thanks. Bill

  23. I recently purchased a large number of parts for my 1932 plymouth and with them I have a fair amount of pars for a 1932 CP straight 8 which I don't have. The parts include a complete engine, heads, manifolds(which appear to be NOS) . Rather then wait until Hershey and put them on a table I am just checking if anyone has any interest in the parts. The engine looks very clean, I was told by the family it runs well and at one time was used as the demo in a Chrysler dealership. Thats what I was told. Please feel free to email me George H my email is or my cell is 917-621-7450 Thanks
