  1. Hi guys ,I'm looking for two 1932 buick tail lights, thanks!
  2. Searching for original 1932 Ford Roadster stanchions. Need one passenger side lower stanchion (unlikely to find solo) or a pair. May be interested in original upper stanchions and original windshield frame. Thanks! Chad zaemo@mac.com
  3. I am looking to sell my 1932 American Austin Roadster. Asking $16,950 but would consider a trade or reasonable offer. I have a good transferable NYS registration in my name. The car is currently licensed, insured and road worthy. This extremely rare and collectible piece of Americana was built in Butler, PA. This is NOT a British Austin. Restoration was completed in 2010. It's about 98% stock. The seats are black leather with diamond tuck on bottom. All original 80-year-old sheet metal, including the floor. The original 4-cylinder engine has been professionally overhauled with new pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, valves, springs, etc. The front-end and steering box were totally rebuilt. Three-speed manual transmission has been gone through and has new clutch plates. New brakes and tires (5) all the way around. The whole car weighs about 1250 pounds. For more information, Google American Austin. An open trailer to haul it is an extra $1,000. Email me through this ad or call on my cell at 607-three four two-70 one one. I do not text so please do not try to contact me that way.
  4. I am now deep into a winter project, building a vintage speedster on a '32-50 chassis, to be done by June for running the Great Race (this year - a lap of the Great Lakes). Being part engineer, part artist, and wholly looney; I have decided to make it a coachbuilt special: boat-tail with twin head fairings and pontoon fairings. Why not? I offer this blog (with pix) on the project, for those interested: The Great Race John Corey And I welcome all good advice and relevant spare parts contributions! Thanks to those who have already lent their support (you know who you are)! jc
  5. Hi, I'm building a '32 Model 56 into a speedster for the Great Race 2012. I find I have to lower the steering column about 10 degrees. Rather than kill the mount on the perfectly good steering box I have, I thought I would ask if anyone has a box or the bit that connects the box to the frame and carries the Pittman shaft through the frame rail, that I might modify accordingly. IF so, please email me at jcorey@cficinc.com. Thanks! jc
  6. I am trying to find a few parts to complete a 1932 Studebaker St. Regis. It is the 6 cylinder model. I believe a model 54. I need the following: The hood center strip. The windshielld frame. The radiator core support. The braces that connect and support the front fenders. They go from the grill to the fender on each side. The brackets that attach the oval headlights to the fenders. I have rear fenders that appear not to be Studebaker. They can be altered to fit, but I would prefer to find sone orginals in good or reasonable condition. Thanks, Bernie 828-231-1142 bernie@abemeblem.com
  7. I just listed a bunch of parts cheap with mo reserve under the seller ID WILDDODGE. All from a 1932 Olds. I also have front and rear bumpers and 8 wooden wheels if anybody needs them.
  8. I have an unrestored 1932 Ford grill that, even though it has been stored for the last few years in a relatively controlled environment, seems to be rusting out more at the bottom and around the crank hole. Is there anything I can do, short of blasting and painting that will stop, or at least slow down this inevitable New England cancer?
  9. Could you all help identify this body that is mounted on a DeSoto SC chassis that came home on a ship from Denmark? The owner is looking to put the car back together and we are hoping to find some sheet metal especially fenders that are in better condition. There are some legible body numbers that I can post if it would be helpful. I also have more pictures if you need them....I was having trouble getting them to upload. Thank you!
