  5. Looking to buy a good exhaust manifold for my 1951 Dodge Wayfarer. Parts book shows all 1949-1954 Dodge car and Plymouth 6 cylinders are the same part number. Intake and exhaust together is fine as well. I can't imagine the number of these that were probably scrapped. Needs to be crack free and hopefully not too pitted. I tried the Powerwagon place but they never got back to me. I believe the truck ones aren't drilled for the sisson choke and may have some other differences. Would still like to get the car on the road this fall, though time is running out. I haven't

  8. 1915 Packard Twin Six Series 1-25 Model 118 Seven Passenger Touring. Spectacular Automobile! This is one of the oldest surviving Packard Twin Six known to exist. One of the most important Packards in existence. The Twin Six was introduced in May of 1915. After driving a new Twin Six from New York to San Francisco Packard President Henry Joy called the new Packard “The greatest piece of machinery that ever went over the highways”. The new Twin Six won the only Grand Prize Medal awarded at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. The Twin Six was designed by Packard Engineer
  9. Hi I'd like to ask assistance for an issue that's left me sitting few times. If I turn my 1921 Roadster off after running for more than about 10 minutes, it fails to start again. It'll crank till the cows come home, but won't fire. I initially thought possible vapor locking, as I live in the Phoenix Metro area and its been well over 100 degrees when I've driven it. I no longer believe this is the case per below. Basic stuff: fuel, spark, timing. Fuel: I have plenty of gas. The vacuum tank has been bypassed and fuel is being delivered to the carburetor via an electri

  13. I was lucky enough to come across this beautiful old girl. ( wife has already named her Daisy). it’s an interesting build as it’s a timber frame with a budd body front, guards and side. We think it may of been supplied as a roadster to TJ Richards and a factory built Ute. The doors are a one piece pressing so haven’t been added onto. The Ute section had been screwed on through the top side beading. The rear sides had been cut above the guard’s and widened by about 2” a side. I’m going to add the dicky seat back into it and make it back into the sports roadster it once was. This will be

  16. Hi, I thought I'd add some photos showing progress of my Dodge Tourer restoration. When I started the restoration I found that there is plenty of knowledge and helpful people around but not a lot of information on line so I thought that this could help others doing any work on a similar model. I purchased the car in December 2015, it was running (but only just) and over the course of the next year I sorted out some of the basics (brakes, carb, charging etc) so I could get it registered and drive it. Mid 2017 (winter) I got a bit bored one weekend and decided to tear it down

  19. I'm planning on replacing the spark plugs in my 1935 Dodge Truck (KH-32 V, Engine Number T13-7512). The maintenance manual (for a K-32) says the part number is S9 (copper, 14 mm thread, .025" gap) and there are J-8 spark plugs in there now. From the data I've referenced, it seems that it has cast iron cylinder heads. Any recommendations on replacement spark plugs?
