  1. Although I haven't had a chance to follow through on the helpful ideas I've received (family vacation and business travel/work), I wanted to offer a note of thanks for the helpful ideas. Ed
  2. Available for purchase is a large antique D-X porcelain sign. Measures 70 inches across, and 38 inches tall. This is an older sign, probably from the 40's or 50's, as the colors are maroon, black, and cream. Some chips around the edges, but still very attractive and presentable. This is from my personal collection. Buyer to pay any freight, insurance, and a $15 handling/packing fee. Digital pics available upon request. Asking $450.00 or best offer. Thanks! Ed
  3. Available for sale is a 1957 Ford Country Sedan station wagon. Extremely good condition. Two-tone paint: blue and white. Everything, including mechanicals, glass, paint, upholstery, emblems, is in very good to excellent condition. Like new radial tires. V-8, 12 volt system. No power steering or brakes, and no air conditioning (Sorry!). Original radio and hubcaps come with the car, as well as a '57 Ford repair manual. Have many digital pics that are available. Asking $17,500, or best offer. Contact me with questions, and I'll do my best to provide an honest answer. Thank you for your interest. Ed
  4. I have for sale all the parts and pieces to an air-conditioning system for a 1955/56 Chrysler New Yorker. Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll do my best to answer honestly. I can also email pictures of all inventory. Asking $1,000.00. I also have the car that I bought the a/c system for, for sale. Thanks for looking! Ed
  5. I have for sale a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe. It has less than 51,000 miles, and is mostly all original (except for replacement parts, etc.). Very clean, and cosmetically and mechanically, in very good condition. The car is black with a white top and side stripe. Green interior. Power brakes and steering. Bias-ply tires with wide whitewalls. The leading edge of the dash board cover needs resetting. I have all the parts (I was told from a '56 Chrysler) needed to install an air conditioning system. These are available for $1,000.00. All in all, the car is in very good shape. Please ask for photos and any questions you might have. Asking $14,000.00. Thank you for your interest. Ed
  6. I need some help and ideas about a recurring situation with my 1955 Chrysler New Yorker. In every other way, it drives wonderfully. However, twice while out for a joy ride, it has quit running and refused to start. Sometimes when it has had difficulty in starting, I have simply sprinkled gasoline directly into the carburetor, and it will start fine. I have changed the fuel filter, and the fuel pump, starter, and battery are not problems. Fuel system problem? Please help! Ed
