I assume there are cross overs? What years and cars will the brain work from? I can't find a Reatta anywhere. Vince

The clipping noise, as I can describe it, it cutting in and out but not completeley just a sharp, repetative noise. Really annoying. It makes the noise even if you mute the radio.

Hi Everyone, I have been driving my 1989 Coupe with 48k back and forth to work, with only two minor issues. One is an intermitant clipping in the radio, the other is a rough idle, which I attribute to 10 yr old gas. Now the battery has been near dead two mornings in a row, but when I did a systems check everthing said 'ok'. This morning I discovered that you could press the ok, to go in depth. Every spot I check it says ok, but when I press ok, it tells me there is a problem. Low Oil pressure, but guage reads fine. Low volts, high temp, etc, but the guages are all fine. Does it need to be reset? Thanks for any info. Guitar

1. 10 2. 24 3. 32,32,50 4. 50 5. 1,2,2,1 in that order, does this suggest a problem? 6. half an inch. 7. Check I was happy with everythinh except number 5, which seems to it may be a problem. Any further testing I should do, or is it ok to drive it and see. I am growing rather anxious, as I will finally have the title worked out today. Takes GMAC a while to sort out a 19 year old lien. Thanks guys, I think the guage may be stuck, and the tank is over full, as it is much warmer now then when my brother in law poured the gas into the tank. I am going to run the tank dry, drop it and see if the float is stuck, or not functioning. Any suggestions on a replacement pump? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I just bought an '89 with 47K miles on it. I got it home (trailered, as you suggested), and I love it! Everything seems to work great, but I have not done the brake test yet. I said in a previos question, the fuel gauge reads extremely low, but my brother in law couldn't get gas into it with a can. After I got it home, and cleaned it, I opened the gas cap, and fuel came out of the neck. It did it twice, and since it was in the garage, I didn't want to let it run out, and put the cap back on it. Anyone heard of this before? I can't tell if it is under pressure, but something is certainly wrong. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the advise. By the way, Guitar suits me fine, athough Vega has a nice ring to it. One more question, if I may. My brother-in-law said that the low fuel warning was on, but when he tried to add fuel it spit right back at him like it was full. Anyone else experience this? Thanks, Guitar

Hi, I am brand new to the club, just bought an '89 without seeing it. I sat in one when I was 20 (19 long years ago), and was in love, but broke. Will a 6'2" 220 lbs. (ok 245, but working at it), guy fit ok? It has 45k miles, but has been sitting for a couple of years. My GM certified (read certifiable) brother-in-law checked it out, said the brakes were good, and it ran and drove fine. Any concerns driving it 150 miles home? What tools would you take?
