Chickasha Pre War Swap Meet - March 15th & 16th
Trulyvintage replied to Trulyvintage's topic in General Discussion
Actually - it is a great idea and a perfect fit for Chickasha. There are indoor and outdoor spaces and plenty of room to maneuver a truck and trailer. Most vendors are seasoned pros that can set up their space in an hour or so - they usually have help to do it. It is a positive move to revitalize live vending and encourage folks to do business face to face. Jim -
Chickasha Pre War Swap Meet - March 15th & 16th

Sunrise will be around 7:30 am or later on March 15th in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Vendors have just 3 hours to set up for the Public before the gates open - my opinion is they are not going to be receptive to Early Bird Shoppers going thru their trailers trying to get a jump on the other folks coming thru the gate - the vendors will be focused on setting up. You need to read what has been posted above. There is no admission Wednesday or Thursday for anyone. Vendor set up is Friday between 7 and 10 am - gates do not open for vendor set up until 7 am. Chickasha Swap Meet is not a graveyard - if you feel that way then stay home. Jim -

Show me your trailer graphics
Trulyvintage replied to kgreen's topic in Garages, Trailers, and Towing
What if the driver of the tow vehicle pulling your trailer doesn’t have an IPhone ? Do they still get a notice ? What is the “ real world “ range of the air tag you put in your trailer that is linked to your phone ? How far will it send a signal ? What is the realistic battery life if it is activated and constantly sending a signal ? Jim -
Anyone Here Buy This 1961 Chevy Biscayne In Florida ?
Trulyvintage replied to Trulyvintage's topic in General Discussion
It takes no “ expertise “ to drive into Coparts or another auction yard and wait for a forklift to bring out a salvage vehicle and side or rear load it on an open trailer. The middle and end vehicle vehicles on that trailer are required to have any loose parts secured in place before using public roads. I get contacted by folks every day telling me what “ the going rate “ is for vehicle transport. To transport the Chevy in manner shown is disrespectful to the vehicle at the very least. I see this every day on the road. Jim -
Florida classic car dealer accused of title fraud

Archived Website: @ https://web.archive.org/web/20230103151455/https://fsdhotrodranch.com/ Any business that self promotes and goes to extremes to tell you how wonderful they are and oversells their product or service is should be carefully scrutinized. Jim -
I picked up a 1954 VW RHD Beetle from The Dezerland Auto Museum in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday. I try to shoot videos of vehicles not available to the general public from private collections and museums. Sometimes they are vehicles for sale - so to get to one of the storage rooms filled with Vintage VW’s for sale that are not being advertised - we had to walk thru The Dezerland Auto Museum … @ Jim

if you watch the video and listen to my narration, these vehicles are unknown to the general public and are not advertised for sale publicly anywhere. Part of what I do in my travels is share car collections, and if the opportunity arises share vehicles for sale that otherwise, no one would probably know of. If anyone has a serious interest in a vehicle shown in the video, they can call Ricardo @ 954-536-9068 Jim
