I have a '64 Pontiac Catalina Safari Station Wagon for sale. It is a 6 Passenger with a 389/2bbl engine. It has a RARE 3 on the tree transmission. This car starts and runs but it needs brake work. I've been trying to find these blinker/back-up light grills since I bought my 1st '50 Buick. I saw these on ebay on 2 differenty listing by the same person. There were still attached to the bumperettes. By the time I hit the "buy it now" the rear set had been sold. I did get the front. I ask the seller to forward the ebayer who bought the rear and he forward the info to me. I was able to buy the rear set for $15.00. They are rough but they will be restored for my "Baby Blue '50".I was only able to post 2 pics

This is a great story,Congrats. I have some concerns as I also got one running after it sat for 20+ years. The oil in my '50 had turned to grease. The oil pan had spider holes in it from condensation(water) sitting in the bottom of the oil pan. The oil had dried in the rocker arm assembly and I had to take it all apart and cleaned it so it oiled the valvetrain. I know you want to get it up and going but don't get in a hurry or it may bite ya in the arse. Please look at my pics of oil in my oil pan pics. These pics are in my photos under "oldwood". It is a 4dr sedan ie. post car. I'm not sure if its a special or super because I didn't find and name tags on it. I can get pics and post unless there's something you can tell me that will make it easier. Thanks for your help.

Well I'm subscribing also since my '50 Sedanette needs the same fix.

I had a '50 2dr Rivi and sold it to buy a '50 2dr Sedanette.

I had my '50 Sedanette and a 51 4dr in "The Last Ride" This movie will be released in a month or two. Its a must see movie if you like Hank Williams Sr. Google it to see the trailor.

I try and keep mine full as gas is on the move up. I get non-ethanol but 2 off my stations that I trade with stop selling it so I have to drive farther in my '50 Burick.

I drove my '50 Special Sedanete today. I have 3 gas stations close by that I buy non-ethanol gas from. I don't want to worry about that problem.

If your unsure if the heat riser flap is open or closed disconnect the exhaust pipe from manifold and look up in the outlet. Mine was partially closed and I opened it up with a pry bar. If its closed you will over heat the manifold and it will crack.

How fast can you push a '50 buick and not hurt it ie. the dynaslow tranny. I just googled this event and its a little over 7hrs from Little Rock. I would need to RandR my Torque tube seal. How many hrs does it take to do this job??? The cooler weather is a plus. This is my bucket of bolts!!!

1960 was the 1st year of the unit-body. the '57 has a frame with a body bolted to it.

Its shown more in the movie but not as much as they filmed it ie.the old cutting room floor. The movie is getting good reviews. Thanks for posting the trailer.

"The Last Ride" opens in select theatre's Friday October 21st. Please go see it so it will be shown on a larger scale. I know we have a lot of Hank Williams Sr. fan on this site.
