  1. The big question is what is this rare duck worth or is there even a market for it because it's only going to take up space in my garage.
  2. Thanks for your help I think I found it! It was a wild goose chase of sites but finally found it on a marine engine site. It is a Beilfuss motor co. engine and from what I have found they made stationary, marine and car engines. they supplyed engines to the Luvernes car company from 1904 to 1909. Also they supplyed replacement engines for cars and people building there own 1 off cars.
  3. I posted this engine all around the net and I have had a lot reponse but nothing definate yet. Also there is no serial numbers on the top of the jug or anywhere I could find. I would be interested in selling it if I had a clue on its value.
  4. this Radiator os made of a brass shell and honeycomb core. it is 25 inchs wide and 24 and 3/4 high. (from base to the top below the neck.) Any Ideas would be appricated.
  5. sorry but I just got all these parts and I am dying to know what they are form, this is a old brass oiler made by the detroit lubricator co. Any Ideas?

  7. I got this body with some parts I bought.
  8. I thought the fairmount railroad cart engines were all 2 stroke. I will dig the rest of the motor out this week and see if I can get some more photos of it to post I didn't realize it would be this hard.
  9. I bought this engine and was wondering if anyone can identify it. the bore and stroke seems to be 5 x 5. don't worry about the axles and rims those are to a different car.
  10. The front frame horns looked to be choped off and a upper cross member put on to mount full eliptical springs, I bet they were originaly half elipticals. that would set them in a little so you could pick up those narower holes in the front axle. Also the frame is stright, not many manufactors were using stright frames in 1914 most had drops to lower the body on the chassis it mabe a earlier chassis. that and the non demountable wheels.
  11. ww1 truck lamp. adlake should be the manufactor, and yankee was just put on there for the military.
  12. 1906 to 1909 buick it is hard to tell because it is upside down but I am pretty sure thats what it is.
  13. yea thanks I have a 1914 B-37 so I knew what it was just to lazy to check the part numbers against mine. I am glad it is in your hands since you can use it, I was going to try to get it off him but it would have only been for a spare, I hope it didn't cost you to much!
  14. The blades are turned so the fan works in a counter clock wise direction if you were looking from the front. that means it most likely was driven off the cam like the early buicks
