I have a tank that has pin holes. i would like a new one or a NOS. were should I look? If they do not exist how do I repair the one I have?

I am having trouble getting vent window rubber for my 53 dodge. Andy Bernbaum does not have it. Any options? any rubber I can substitute even if I can not open the wvent window? Thanks

My 53 Dodge restoration had 710-15 as the original tires. I want to get as wide a white wall as possible. In 4ply bias I have found acceptable tires from Goodyear, BFGoodrich and in 6ply from Lester. I know nothing about Lester. In radial Diamondback has a 215/758 15 but the white wall is 7/8 to 1 inch narrower. I know nothing about Diamondback either. I might accept the narrower WW if the difference between radial and bias ply matters. Any advice? Have any of you had good or bad experiences with Lester or Diamonback? Thanks Stan

In an ad in saturday Evening Post from 53 the Coronet is shown with bright metal drip rail trim. Some people say it did not have this trim. does anyone remeber if they ever saw one with the trim? If so, how would I get it now?

I called Steele Rubber only to find out that old rubber parts for Mopar are very hard to find. the guy they would have recommended had a heart attach at a show last year. Any advice what I do now other than sell the thing for parts? I also just sent the Hemi out for rebuild. I am into this for some bucks.

What experience have any of you had with Lizard Skin as a heat reduction and sound reduction spray on. Also, anyone used Lab Metal instead of "bondo"?

My 53 Dodge title from Iowa listed the engine number as the VIN. I looked at the two plates on the firewall and one was a body number the other just a manufactures label. the door frame had another plate with a vehicle number. none of these was the VIN number on the title(the engine number). the Oregon DMV finally!! allowed me a new title with the comment that I better never lose the engine. What is the scoop here? Anyone know?

It has a Gyromatic transmission which I am told is not a very good tranny.

I want to replace the current Gyromatic with a 3 speed any advice how to find one?
