  1. I have a '47 Windsor 3-window Business Coupe that I was going to restore, but due to health problems I can no longer pursue the project. It has a little bit of cancer in the right dog leg in front of the rear fender,it has a slight rod knock in the straight 6,it had some front sheet metal damage to the right front, before I got it and is missing the grill and fender whiskers. 2. I have a front body clip,L&R fenders and a hood to a Hudson Hornet - - -How can I tell what year it is for? The fenders have the side emblems and I'll have to look at the hood to see if it has a ornament.

  4. Again ,thanks guys. As of right now I don't have any pictures of it,but will post some when I do. I do have access to a '47 4-door with heavy side and rear body and frame damage. As far as the engine goes, I have rebuilt several Harley Davidson engines and a few car engines, so I guess it's all about the farming out of the machine work. There seems to be quite a few old mid 40's Chryslers around my area come to find out.We have a large farming community just down the road a little. A lot of older vehicles just sitting out behind buildings. Thanks again
