  1. I have a '47 Windsor 3-window Business Coupe that I was going to restore, but due to health problems I can no longer pursue the project. It has a little bit of cancer in the right dog leg in front of the rear fender,it has a slight rod knock in the straight 6,it had some front sheet metal damage to the right front, before I got it and is missing the grill and fender whiskers. But I was driving it in 1991 till the wiring shorted at the starter. The problem is - - -due to the rare body style, what do I ask for it?I can't see it becoming a hot rod. It should go to some body that will give it the care it needs and restore it.Any ideas?
  2. I have a front body clip,L&R fenders and a hood to a Hudson Hornet - - -How can I tell what year it is for? The fenders have the side emblems and I'll have to look at the hood to see if it has a ornament.
  3. I have some pictures of my '47 Windsor business coupe, but I'm not quite sure how to post them on this site
  4. Again ,thanks guys. As of right now I don't have any pictures of it,but will post some when I do. I do have access to a '47 4-door with heavy side and rear body and frame damage. As far as the engine goes, I have rebuilt several Harley Davidson engines and a few car engines, so I guess it's all about the farming out of the machine work. There seems to be quite a few old mid 40's Chryslers around my area come to find out.We have a large farming community just down the road a little. A lot of older vehicles just sitting out behind buildings. Thanks again

  6. Thanks for the info guys. I was wondering what grill and fender trim will fit besides a '47,maybe a 4-door? And can a engine shop rebuild the engine due to its age?
