Great Pictures Brian. I think that you could probably write a good story with a few pics for our Rotating Spokes Mag. Dave...

Standard Six Driveshaft - Thoughts?
Dave_Pink replied to studebrooklyn's topic in Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne
Hello again. Yes I think that they should be a little out of shape. Make sure you have weight on the diff and use pry bars. I may have also used a ratchet strap around the diff back to rear of the frame. I have a lot of miles up on mine now and still looks and functions fine. Dave Pink. -
Standard Six Driveshaft - Thoughts?

Hi, my 1925 Std 6 Tourer has 3 discs front and rear. Each disc has 6 bolt holes and each bolt has a corrygated washer between discs. the disc were quite hard to install and are compressed but as you load up the car or hit a bump, they do flatten out. I made my discs from transmision belting and they have worked well for about 10 years now. Regards, Dave Pink. -

Hi All, I believe the carb that I need is a Schebler type R updraft. I will try to get a photo of one to post on the weekend. Thanks, Dave..

OK, not having much luck here. Perhaps someone could suggest another brand of carburettor that I could adapt to my motor? Thankyou, Dave...

Hello Group. I am after a Schebler Carburettor for my 1916 Studebaker four cylinder engine. Can anyone help me? Thankyou, Dave Pink.

Thanks stude8. Unfortunatly the opportunity to buy has passed and I missed out on them. Doesn't matter, I spent my money on a reco motor for my 1913 Studebaker Town Car:) Dave Pink.

I have the opportunity to buy a set of wood spoke wheels and tyres from a mid 20s dodge. they are 5.25 x 21" and look very similar to my 1925 Studebaker ER std 6 tourer. Does any one know if they will indeed fit my Stude? Thanks, Dave...

Hi, my 1916 Four cylinder roadster will do 50mph, maybe a touch more if pushed hard, but it is most comfortable at 40 to 45 mph.

Hello to all. The Radiator in my std 6 tourer has rotted out beyond repair. Has anyone got a good spare to sell to me or any suggestions for a fix? The Rad Shop said he may be able to fit a modern core but it would be flat, not curved like the original, and probably $2K. any help would be appreciated. Dave.

Hi Bill, any chance of you scanning that original sales lit and emailing to me, it sounds like good stuff. Thanks, Dave.

Thanks Bill, I dont know how they might be different. There is the original owners booklet for this car somewere, but have not located it yet. I know very little about it, so I have a lot of learning to do. Dave..

Hi Group, I have recently aquired a 1913 SA'25' town car and I need the whole speedo drive setup. That is the gear that fixes to the inside of the wheel, the unit that drives from it and the inner and outer cable up to the speedo head. Can anyone help out? Thanks, Dave..

Thanks Terry, I did say that I had a lot to learn. Dave.

Thanks stude8. I have added photos of the car. I believe that this car originally had some sort of gas starting system I think that the red cylinder on the running board behind the spare wheel had something to do with it I have a lot of learning to do with this one. Dave.

Hi, I recently got a 1913 SA25 towncar and would like to add electric start to it if possible. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to go about it? Thanks, Dave.

Hi David. Your attached photos do not open. I would like to see some pictures of your car. Thanks, Dave Pink.

Hi Group. The fabric hood on my '16 roadster is very faded and starting to look a bit threadbare. It is over 20 years since it was redone. I was wondering if there was anything that I could coat it with to rejuvenate it I did try armorall, but it done little for the appearance. Thanks for your help. Dave.

Hi again Carine. We have 7 separate Studebaker Car Clubs in different states throughout Australia. The Victorian Club, of which I'm president, has approximately 190 members and 200 subscribers to our Magazine. I would think that there are about 600 Studebaker Club members combined.

Gee leonard ,you know more about what i've got than I do. Mick just sold the '55 Commander sedan to make room for my GH. The '54 sedan in the background is just a parts car. We also have a '62 GT Parts car as well. So Carine, Leonard has saved me the trouble of posting photos for you, Thanks again, Dave.
