'51 Chief - Colo

the engine in my '51 is shot, so I have lined up a 350. does anyone know where I can get a mounting conversion kit since the mounting locations are completely differant? On the other hand. The flat head 6 still has good, usable parts. If anyone needs parts let me know. Open to offers, would prefer to sell the whole thing as one, trany included, but can't ship, located in Colorado.

Just started restoring 1951 Chief.

I am in process or restoring a '51 Chiefton, FH 6. I am in need of the water pump. I have found on from a '50 flathead 8 Pontiac, but can not find anything that would tell me if they are interchangeable. Are any parts for the engine interchangeable between the 6 and 8? if not, can someone tell me where I could find one? Any info would be appreciated. thanks
