  1. Thnx, will send him a mail. It does not fit properly anymore saying that it sits just loose ans moves around when the engine is running. Somehow little metal thingy is gone that provides a snug fit.
  2. Thnx for your answer, yes if someone could provide me with the correct part #, I'd appreciate it.
  3. Hi guys, I want to replace the dipstick on my 455 engine, since it does not fit properly anymore. I bought it this way and it really bothers me. On Ebay, I see lots of dispticks for sale for a 455 engine, but they are all for Olds or Pontiac. Can I bid on one of these and will it fit right then? Since these 455 engines do have some differences, I wonder if it would fit on my block. Thanks in advance! Eelco
  4. Got mine from http://www.oldbuickparts.com/commerce/index.php?cPath=19
  5. Thanks for the info! Can a foreigner like me request such a search?
  6. How much for it? Do you also ship abroad? I know it is costly, but can you and will you? I have Paypal and excellent feedback!
  7. Hi! Thnx for replying! Yes, I can always use parts! Can you email me some pics of it? Den Haag? That's great! Is that guy called Rick by any chance?
  8. As already stated in another post, my car was imported to the Netherlands in 2000. Before that, it drove around in sunny California since 1970. I would really like to know if someone has anymore info on this car at all. for instance, the dealership that it came from, perhaps a previous owner? The VIN: 494870H911648 License plate from california is not in my possesion unfortunately. Here is an old pic of how it looked like when it came here in 2000.... Here is how it looks now....under construction....luckily it's rustfree!

  11. Hi guys, Let me introduce myself in short. My name is Eelco, I live in The Netherlands, Europe and I own a black Buick Riviera 1970. I'm currently restoring her (new paint, new vinyl roof etc.) and I'm looking for a grill emblem in good condition, that is, intact. Also, I want to aks somebody to do a VIN check on carfax for me. I can pay you with Paypal for the costs. The car was imported from California in 2000. I really would like to know more about the car, other then that it was build in Flint, Michigan. Is there also some way to check whom sold it at which dealership? Thank you al in advance! Eelco
