On my 36 chrysler there is a clutch torque tube. It has a lot of wiggle in it which doesn't seem right. Any ideas on how to fix it. Otto

Just a little update on my 36 convertible sedan. Couldn't get my 3 speed with overdrive fixed, and I spent probably 4 grand, nobody knows how and there are no books on it and no parts. So I finally put a ford T5 mated to a chevy S10 tranny. Now I have 5 speeds. Am happy with the results

I have a 36 C7 convertible sedan, drive it about 5000miles a year.. I have 3 tranny's with overdrive I'd like to sell. They all have problems, won't stay in direct drive and if your're coming down a mt. freewheeling it can be hairy. I couldn't find anybody to fix them. After spending thousands I finally gave up and went to a T5 mated to a chevy S10 and it works great. Contact me if you want to know more. . Otto

Hi I just bought a 32 CP LHD and I want to disable the clutch. The lever from the cylinder to be in direct drive , should it be pointing rearward? On the tranny, the little lever, to be direct should be pulled front. I notice it's under spring tenson at the end. Do I wire it all the way front to keep it in direct drive? Otto

I'm trying to install the tranny and wonder how long the clutch release bearingsleevepull back spring should be and how much space is there between the tranny drive pinion bearingretainer and the tranny case.
