  1. OK - Soooo- You tighten the oil pan drain plug as tight as you can , preferrably with a Breaker-bar, plus a two-foot length of pipe as an extender, until it turns freely, and then, (after replacing the pan), do the same thing next time, but with only a One-Foot Long extender ??
  2. 5-Minute place stripped three (3) oil pans on our son's Jeep Cherokee Now he changes his Yukon's oil himself (or with my help)
  3. Got at least 8 for sure after zoom
  4. Any which way the ladies want to go?
  5. Like the car and the color, (really prefer the 1957's taillights to the '58)
  6. 1956 Cheesecake GM Photo-Op Luv-It
  7. At first I looked at this one on a small cell phone, and until I enlarged it on a big screen laptop, it looked like a 2-Fisted Beer-drinking Nun
  8. Welcome to the Buick FORUM- Please let us know what Buick(s) you may have, or are looking for, and post photos, as well
  9. My 1964 2-CV 435 cc topped out at 55 mph, and didn't like hills, but was a blast to drive. Driving a fast car slowly is nowhere as much as blast as driving a slow car FAST ! Suspension travel is amazing to the point of rediculous, and you could take fast hard turns on all 4 wheels and the door handles
  10. I like it in white, would prefer a white, or a red interior and would really prefer one ten years older- a 1958 white hemi convertible, like the one I bought, paid for, and then had the seller reneg on his agreement.
  11. Check the Chrysler forums, maybe a Gary Goer (spelling?) set could be available
  12. I used to use a high pressure long fibre wheel bearing grease back in the 1950s through the '70s, but now use a good quality red synthetic. While any old wheel bearing grease is probably "good enough", For the extra buck or two, is is just that level of reassurance. Good Luck
  13. 190 degrees is not excessive when running. Thankfully is is dropping, and not pouring out the overflow. One thought is that you may be overfilling the radiator. That was initially an issue with my 1930 Packard and 1937 Buick, as well as the 1915 Hudson - a learning experience ! This is not a pressurized system, as in modern vehicles. My initial suggestion is that you only fill the radiator to where you can look down into it and fill only as high as the top of the fins. Expansion is normal, so dripping out of the overflow would be expected when filled to the top. Expect to add coolant on a semi-regfular basis. Please let us know of your progress- and please add pictures of your car - we appreciate pictures, and good luck with your Nash.
  14. Just my 2 cents, but the hub cap with the octagonal pressing does not look right for either Nash or Hupmobile, but the body is similar to the Hupp Hupp: Nash
  15. Here’s one group we got from the post office a while back
  16. Right, you are ! Gettin' lucky? Sometimes gettin' lucky beats the heck out of skill, talent, and planning- But I really should install that Necker's Knob. I have a '30s vintage one that was on the '34 Buick - took it off when we restored it, and one I got with a picture in it of Marilyn Monroe with the white dress from the movie "Seven Year Itch", and I guess it belongs on the '54 Caddy
  17. Hi Glenn, I frequently forget to immediately put things back where they were, or where they belong, so my mis-deeds do catch up with me. I've learned that seeking forgiveness, or "acting" foolish works better than asking permission.
  18. Think I can make it fit with just a few modifications ...
  19. Bet she didn't get a speeding ticket in her convertible on her way to the beach
  20. Same here - FIVE '54 at the curb on the left '59 on the right curb, '57, ('50 thru '52?), and '56 off street in lot below BUICK sign
