I have done it with tube nuts and unslotted machine screws. Prefit the unit so you know it will function. When you do final assembly put thread locker on the threads. I use green LockTite.
The factory would paint the car about any color the buyer wanted, except white for $31.

My dad was a Chrysler Plymouth salesman thru the 50's and 60's. In his opinion the worst color for resale was brown. They called it stay around brown. I personally like green as it in my favorite
color, but not many cars are green from the factory. I think Corvetts came from the factory green only one year in the 70's . They were poorly recieved by the public.
I curntly own a 'warmed over" C6 Vette, and a HP Infinity Q60 twin turbo 4WD for my winter car. One thing I have found when doing a high MPH run , is the road that looks flat is not .

The car in this original post is a running driving titled car in the state if Wisconsin. With a documented history. A far cry from an amusement park ride. The car is now for sale.
The master cylinder pictured is not correct for 34-36 Auburn. It fits and will work, but will get dinged in judging at ACD meets.

Prior to 1938, whitewalls on both sides of the tire. Single sided white walls 38 and later. I side with AJ, in a comment he once made, 'I hate whitewalls'.
