On 52 olds the dipstick is in the engine bay passenger side by firewall,He could be low on Fluid as well.check it when engine is hot

Does anyone know if they make a 6 volt Hi torque starter for a 303 V8. I have had my regular starter rebuilt but it still turns over slowly,and when hot if I shut engine off,it barely turns over.I then have to wait till it cools off to start it. I have all new wiring,6 volt cables,and the best Jel battery.any help on starter would be appreciated. Ed
