  1. Hey Fred, things are looking really, really good - to say the least! Nice to see the progress. Keep up the good work.
  2. Looking to purchase Manuals covering the mid 1930's. Send a pm or email with the/your particulars. Thanks, EH!!!
  3. Just located a couple of '28-'29 Caddys (apparently). Just wonder if there is any need for parts by anyone on the forum? Haven't seen them yet; however, will try to get photos later on. I think mainly mechanical parts? Thanks.
  4. "were Cadillac bodies made from aluminum in 1926? If they were, that sure would surprise me". Don't know about Caddys being aluminum - bodied in '26; but do know that Lincoln had an aluminum body in 1928!!!
  5. Hi Dale. Following your post - more metal work on a little Crosley than I figured on!!!!! Will put in a plug for Vintage Truck magazine; the Jan/Feb 2014 Issue, Volume 21 Number 6 has an article on a 1952 Crosley Panel Delivery owned by a fellow named Dean. A "Super Special Delivery" with quite a bit of history about Powell Crosley, Jr. hisself! I'm more into his radios than his autos, EH!! Keep us informed.
  6. Hi Manuel. Google arp.com and you may find something? Hope this helps. Also, try Al Lambert at Gasket City. Probably google: gasketcity.ca Al is in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada).
  7. I heartily agree with Pat - post lots of photos! Impossible to clutter up our forum; especially with "unique" Restoration Speedster type, early stuff!!!!
  8. Looking for a Spare Tire Mount; patterns, photos or parts thereof etc. for the Under Box Mount for a 1935-36 Willys 77. Also looking for: Jack, Tools or Information as to what tools comprised the tool kit for 1933-1936 Model 77. Thanks for your help, input & leads!
  9. I used another "well-known" universally available product on my truck frame - body parts before that - guess I should've known better!!! - a total waste of time, money and effort! Use the RustOleum. I have a stockpile of Hard Hat Spray Bombs! Haven't used them yet. 'Nuff said.
  10. Congrats on receiving that "new" Dodge harness, John. One step closer to Cruising, EH!!!! What vendor did you use? Did / do you have to use any of the old sockets, clips, clamps etc. from the old harness? Thanks for the post. Keep us updated! Post Script: You should have probably ordered TWO!!! One for each, huh?
  11. Not Pre-War AMERICAR! Although the '37~'39 Willys had two larger round gauges.
  12. I'm completely & utterly speechless!!!!!
  13. I've seen the ads for EMS but haven't purchased anything from them. Nor have I heard any bad reports! I could ask the same question regarding patch panels for a 1964 Chevelle "Tudor" Hardtop! I need a quarter panel skin & a "preferably" one piece trunk pan. Hint, hint guys.
  14. Someone is reproducing the "Glasstop" for these cars! Not sure who they are but type "glasstop" into your search engine and results should happen!!! Don't have any parts now.
  15. Were certainly more than two that got away!!!! Test Driveable (by me) '38 Willys Two Door Coach; '57 Monarch Turnpike Cruiser Four Door Hardtop (owned for awhile); my one real CAR regret. Will be in touch about the fenders. Thanks.
  16. Hi Doug & Ab: Certainly enjoying your posts!!! Mainly due to the subject matter, of course. Two fine cars that got away when I was young & foolish: 1920 Overland 4 "Cloverleaf" Roadster & a 1928 Whippet Cabriolet!!! Oh well, if we'd only known, EH? Did you sell the extra Whippet Fenders, Doug? Let me know, please. Keep the good posts coming!
  17. Looking for either an "Illustrated" or unillustrated Parts Manual for Willys 77s. Also; Owner's Manual, Motors or Chilton Repair Manual for '33-'36. Hollander Interchange Manual etc. etc. Any "Trade Publications" with Willys 77 information & articles. Best to PM me! Thanks, EH.
  18. See that this topic was started over 12 years ago - but very relevant to me! I'm looking at a '28 Willys Knight that hasn't run in many years. What recommendations do you guys have in preparing to start this engine? What should I especially want to be aware of? I'm not familiar with the Sleeve Valve first hand. Just kind of handy. What do I use to prelube the cylinders - straight weight non detergent oil or ? weight detergent oil? I noted that it was suggested to use detergent oil. I'm a non detergent fan in my original '35 Willys! (non rebuilt 134 Flathead). Who is a good contact? Thanks for any recommendations, guys! I'll await some help.
  19. You'll have to post some "stock" photos for us - when it's returned to it's former glorious self, eh!!!!!!!!
  20. Looking for "old time" period photos of Willys 77s from your shoe box stash; or the attic!!! Let me know what you have, please. (Current photos of stock & original okay, too.)
  21. Still searching ............................ Let's bring this back up!
