I am seeking help identifying a piece of Ford Rouge Plant memorabilia that I got from my grandfather's house after he passed away in 1954. I am trying to determine the type of Rouge Plant employee badge. At the top of the badge is a star similar to the Star of David, but I think that this just a coincidence. Also the number of the badge is very low (80) which seems a small number compared to what I have seen on other badges. My grandfather was employed by Ford at least as early as 1917 and perhaps earlier. If anyone could explain this badge to me, I would really appreciate the help.
