Wes, These hold the bonnet(hood)close together to make work in the engine compartment easier. I believe these will work on various years with the butterfly bonnet design. I made them years ago for my 1940 Packard. Frank

The 1940 Packard film strip shows all that years features. I believe 1940 used a cloverleaf style ignition key. The lighter has a new 6v element. The two hooked items hold the 1940 hood open for ease of access to engine compartment. My 40 Packard has been sold. Thanks for looking.

The houndstooth upholstery is as one of the originals offered in 1946/47. The other was a tan, red and green striped which is not reproduced. -

These are recent photos. No major issues. The gas gauge registers 1/2 when full. The clock has the fuse removed. There is an aftermarket seperate water temp gauge. One side turn signal does not automatically cancel. I consider these minor issues. Car is in storage so I'll try to get engine photos. As far as I know the engine has never been apart. Thanks for your interest -

Yes, my Pontiac is a street rod. I'm working on a 1946 Packard that has a Carter WDO 512S carb. Even though the bolt pattern is a little different I could make the heat shield work. Thanks -

I need the glass lens for my 1941 Pontiac license plate light. Does anyone have the correct part number? Will the lens from a Chevy work? Also is there an alternative to the glass lens, such as plastic if so what type and thickness. Thanks
