This Diamond T was originally purchased by the Williams Hardware Company of Steator, Illinois..  Has the Hercules 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission with a power take off from the transmission. Runs, drives, stops.. Doesn't smoke. New tires, hoses, gaskets throughout, fan belt, rebuilt starter, rebuilt carburetor, reground valves and valve seats.  Oil and amp gauges work. much more.. Have extra set of doors. Took out gas tank and cleaned. Transmission side and top plates taken off for inspection and checked out very good. This has all the Diamond T tags on it .. Top needs attention along with a seat. Price is $8500..  Located in Southern Illinois.  Just come and see it..  if seriously interested just call and TALK. No text..   618-889-6855

    Henry, Truck is complete except for one headlamp is missing the rim retainer and both lenses  are not there..  I would rather you call me to get any of your questions answered ..  ph: 618 889 6855  I'm located in Southern Illinois.

  3. more pictures:   Engine was taken apart while in chassis..  All new gaskets were installed. Reground valves and valve seats. The cylinder walls were in excellent condition. All new gaskets were installed on engine. Carburetor was taken apart to clean and or replace any worn parts. Starter was taken apart cleaned and replaced any parts that it needed. Generator was taken off of engine and contacts were cleaned. Radiator was taken apart (top and bottom) to be cleaned and repaired.  Fan assembly was taken apart and repaired. Passenger side rear wheel & hub was taken off to replace axel wheel seal. Magneto was taken apart to be cleaned and check out contacts. Rear brakes were adjusted. Gas tank was taken out and cleaned. Installed new battery cables and a positive double ground for better grounding. No glass in in the truck except for one of the driver side window insert section. Tail light was on the truck but it had been bent in. The truck body is very solid and straight .. There a rust through on the lower passenger side of the cowl about as big as a small fist. Front fenders are as solid and straight as you would want. All the side panels on the body are straight.  Just call me : 618 889 6855..

I think I would buy this car if was closer to me for my personal inspection.  I know it's not a flashy car to grab the eyes at a car show but it puts me back in my day just to drive it..  I always wanted a 64 Polara 2dr with a factory 4 spd. and 383 engine after seeing one for sale back in 1965 from an individual.. I was only 17 years old and no money..

  5. my 1926 Diamond T truck 1 1/2 ton has the Hercules 4 cyl. engine with 4 spd. transmission. Has power takeoff on transmission. New tires, fan belt, hoses, gaskets, rebuilt carburetor, mag taken apart and cleaned, reground all valves and seats, much more.. Runs , drives, stops and doesn't smoke. Good solid frame and straight body and fenders. Oil and amp gauges work. have extra set of doors for it..  Top needs attention..  If your serious Call and Talk for more information ph: 618 889 6855..  I have dropped the price to $8500.   Located in Southern Illinois..

    my 1926 Diamond T model T has a 4 cyl. Hercules OX engine with a 4 spd. transmission. Also has a PTO of off transmission. Runs good, (doesn't smoke), all gears work, new tires, reground the valves and valve seats. , new gaskets throughout, amp and oil gauge works, went through mag, went through starter, generator works, new fan belt, brakes work,  much more.. Needs top and seating redone. Has all the  DIAMOND T badges & ID plate are there, Even has two Id tags for the Diamond T body built by Diamond T.. Have extra set of doors. Notice the short side C style windows are there , only one has a glass in it. This truck was originally purchased by the Williams Hardware Company of Streator, Illinois which started their business in 1912.   I have a video of driving it out of my building ... $8,500 If you are serious call me at 618 889 6855 NO Text.  Located in Southern Illinois..

  7. my 1953 Mercury Monteray 4dr. sdn..  This is a California car. Solid as a rock. Not perfect but a darn good car..  Converted to 12 volt. Running a alternator. All lights work. All glass is good, no cracks. Interior is good and useable as is for a driver, no rat's nest.. Car is not perfect, has it's scratches and very small dings. All bright work is there with one extra piece for a spare or to replace it on the rear window due to a small dent. The car has it drips... Never restore but has had one repaint.  I have it licensed and insured for driving ..    Call if your serious to get details. NO TEXT. No trades.  ph: 618 889 6855..   8. I have a 1926 Diamond T model T with a Hercules OX four cylinder engine. It has a Stromberg OT-2 carburetor.. On the bottom of the carburetor I discovered two ports which has corks stuck in them...  What were these ports for ?? 

      Evidently they were not needed for a previous owner of the truck to operate it..     I would like to see a pictorial exploded view of this carburetor from a manual in oreder to identify parts.. 

    Just installed a second photo of the bottom where the parts are missing..   

    Willing to purchase a doner for parts.
