  1. Jim, will do. I have joined the Ottawa area Canada Capital "A's" and I am very impressed with the assistance and committment the members have to these cars. What really surprises me is the availablity of very part for the "A". The Canadian dollars is at par so considerable savings on parts could not come at a better time. I will say that this project really gets into your head. It is the last thing at night and first thought of morning. Wife is again a garage widow. dave
  2. Thanks for the Information. I am starting a resto of a 28 Tudor that I saved from the cutting tourch and a V8. Original car with parts from both 28 and 29. i.e a 28 AR frame, a 29 dash, a 29 CA engine, 28 splash aprons etc etc. She runs ! One trip around the block /// outta control. King pins worn out, pitman arm worn out, bearings loose plus finger tight wheel nuts proved an interesting ride followed by a backfire with a fire ball passing through the open floor. My email is dave.jamieson@sympatico.ca if you would like a pic. dave
  3. The drum has a serial number A-1106-C with a D stamped elsewhere inside the drum. The openings are large enough to almost pass a tennis ball through.
  4. On my recently acquired 28 Tudor I was informed that based on the frame it is an AR and that I have one front right barke drum that is a Rocky Mountain type. Would someone tell me the particulars re the AR frame (canadian serial number on engine) and what is the vaue of a Rock Mountain Brake Drum. tks dave
