  1. Thanks Steve --That answers my question on why it came with LT tires
  2. I use a 2006 Chevrolet 3500 Dually so can not answer your pulling question but have owned over 20 trailers from v nose ---wedge nose --round nose and can not tell much difference pulling with the dual wheel truck however my last trailer sit higher than most and got 1 to 2 mpg fuel milage than the lower sitting trailers-I sold a V nose not a wedge nose to a man that used a Tahoe and when the wind was hiting him from a angle the v pushed him all over the road where his round nose did not---My current trailer is a 36' Gooseneck and I have to learn all over how to back it up
  3. I purchased a 2004 36' Innovator Gooseneck trailer with two of the original 235 x 85 16" LT tires along with a new Republic Trail Mark All Position LT made By Goodyear--I was going to replace the tires with G rated tires until i found out you need G rated wheels for G rated tires which I have 6 Lig Star Aluminum Wheels with a 80 LB limit so I have to go back with a E rated Tire--Does anyone have any knowledge of the Republic Tires? and the trailer did come with LT tires due to the original spare matching the two left on the ground---any opinion of the LT tires on a trailer
  4. I also have owned many trailers with the escape door and agree with the others on the distance between the floor and the threshold it needs to be 10 1/2 " or less---my last trailer was a highly optioned Storm I had built with barn doors also with a 6' opening and it was great but i decided to go with a gooseneck--in my opinion the escape door needs to be located around 96" from the back for all cars (just measure from the door to the back bumper on the 57 and add sone distance) and needs to be a 54" opening ---I have a friend with a nice one check it out it is for sale http://doug396.smugmug.com/gallery/6212445_TM3hz#391699179_vumGZ or email me at doug396@bellsouth.net for pictures of the one I sold with barn doors
  5. I have a friend in Southern Illinois that is doing great body and paint work at reasonable prices--He has been doing paint work for many years and doing his own restorations--He recently started doing restorations for other people--So far a Henry J, a Isetta now working on a 7,000 mile 1960 Corvair---Below is a url that you may have to copy and paste to view pictures of the Henry J Restoration http://doug396.smugmug.com/gallery/6335366_yPShL#458720937_3kC2H contact me at doug396@bellsouth.net for his contact information--he does this for a living and your car will not end up in body shop prison while he is hanging fenders on toyota's
  6. Looking for information on a 36' Innovator Gooseneck Trailer --If you have one contact me at doug396@bellsouth.net
  7. I am looking for a correct color for 1967 Buick Riviera Red--the paint i had mixed from ppg color library seems a little to maroon---i had the camera used also and it dosen't have enough bronze in it either---has anyone else experenced this problem
