  1. I found some #'s by the spark plugs, They are 23183-3. Also some #'s just under the magneto, but haven't got it clean enough to read yet. Also some cast #'s on the side of the transmission, ? 16-17, forgot what the letter was, guess I should write things down!!! thanks for the tip on the Manitoba museum. Barry
  2. My son has just acquired an engine and was told it is from a 1916 Mcglachlin. From pictures we can find we think it is a D34, 4 cylinder. We are not sure of the condition yet, whether it is siezed or not. It appears to be fairly complete, including the magneto. The transmission is still attached. Is there an engine # on it somewhere, and if so, where would it be located? Also, is there any interest out there for an engine this old? He has enough projects on the go, so will be parting with it somewhere. We are located in Sasktachewan. Barry
