    Yes. On the frame itself. Unfortunately my experience has been that they could be anywhere from the very front of the rail (horn) to a couple of feet back. The numbers should be probably a quarter inch high and can be very faint. In a couple of instances it was necessary to remove the inner fender panel to find it or the radiator support could be in the way. A good wire brush will help! It’s there!! Often not easily found! Good Luck!

    I have an Internet acquaintance in Italy that has a nice example of a 51 Champion 3 passenger coupe and he is looking for an exterior sun visor. Would anyone have one? Are there aftermarket ones? Appreciate any input.

    SMS in the state of Oregon, USA. They will likely have the correct materials in bulk. They are essentially the only supplier. My experience is that materials are usually correct however very pricey. Customer service is not one of their virtues!! I waited for a year on the insert material for my 57 Buick Special.

    I just received my copy of the APRIL Bugle. Fantastic pictures and great article on the 57 and 58 Buick wagons! I have seen Joe’s 58 and it is beautiful. Hopefully will see Jim’s this year and I know it will be pristine also! Another Great edition of the Bugle! Thanks Pete!

    Somewhat sad day today. The 42 moves on to a new home. Time for a new owner and for it to be refreshed, driven and enjoyed! New owner is very capable of getting it on the road again. Enjoy!!

    53” corner to corner top side of bumper. This is a Special bumper. Suspect yours is Super/Roadmaster.
