  1. I still have these wheels if anyone needs them. I'd like to get $200 for them and I can deliver within 200 miles of Detroit for cost of fuel
  2. Wow, I put this ad up in 2016 and now it's four years later and I still have this head. The oil I sprayed on those threads has had plenty of time to work itself in to that rust by now..... Let me know if you can use it. No reasonable offer refused.
  3. Leif, I've got a set of five Packard disk wheels that would look really cool on your ride. You would probably want to cut off the rims and use just the disks, this would allow a huge choice in tires. Make me an offer if your interested, I'd love to see them get used for something. 1923 Disc wheels

I have six of these wheels and 4 lock rings if you need more. They are 23" in diameter and have a 6" center hole with 5 lugs and are made by Firestone. 4 are in pretty good shape but the last two have rotten rims with good centers. I wasn't sure if they were even for a Packard. See link below for some pictures. Contact me at tfee16811 at gmail dot com if you could use them. Love to see them with someone that has a need for them. Todd http://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=19041&forum=1
  5. I have an original Airflow CU head that might make a nice spare for someone. It will require some machining to get it back in working order because the spark plugs were left in and they have rusted in place. I suspect that even if you could get the plugs out by unthreading them they would tear up the aluminum threads in the head. It'd be easier to just use an end mill to cut them out and then helicoil each hole. If you're interested in it for $50 send me an e-mail at tfee16811 at gmail Thanks Todd (Livonia, MI)
  6. I have a pile of parts that need to find new homes, check out the list below and let me know if you're interested in anything. I'm not going to ship any of this stuff so plan on a car ride if there is anything you want. Prices reflect my desire for these parts to be gone quickly. 1940 Graham Supercharger (needs worm gear but is all there) $250 1950's 10x48 Atlas lathe $900 Model AA wishbone (Not sure of model) $25 (4) 1927 Chevy disk wheels $125 1938 Cadillac LaSalle grille (needs repair) $65 Jaguar XK120 grille (aftermarket cast in aluminum) $75 Evinrude engine cover $30 Olds Rocket valve covers $45 Olds emblem attached to rusty hood section $30 Cadillac Meteor hearse emblems $45 Chrysler Airflow aluminum head (spark plugs need to be drilled out and Helicoiled) $50 New Flowmaster Hushpower muffler (never used) $80 Mercury flathead heads (8CM) $25 Singer sewing machine cast legs $10 Unknown rear axle half for table? free For contact info and more pictures of these items go to Detroit Craigslist and look for "rusty garage treasures" and if you are interested respond thru CL email. I also have a pair of 7 bolt wire wheels for a 1930 Packard if interested. Thanks Todd
  7. I saw this on Craigslist this afternoon and thought you guys would be interested: https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5673042108.html It's not my car and I have no idea who owns it so contact the seller if you want any information on it.
  8. Paul, do you know if it's the same part on a 1929? You may want to contact this seller in Alabama: https://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/5660656983.html
  9. Those dashboards would have been faux wood painted steel and after they got scuffed up many owners covered them rather than pay to have an artist repaint them. The window trim was finished in the same manor.
  10. Saw this on Craigslist this morning. Genuine Packard trunk in good condition and for a lot less than 3K. Should I buy it for resale purposes? http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/pts/4368563568.html
  11. I have four 1927 Chevy disc wheels two of which have the rims and hub clamps and two of which are just the discs. These wheels have 3" center holes, 6 bolts on a 5 1/2" BC and are made for a 21" tire. I am not really interested in boxing these up and shipping them so please make plans to drive to Livonia, MI to pick them up. You can reach me at tfee16811 at gmail.com Thanks Todd
  12. I have five of these wheels that I bought about 7 years ago that I no longer need. I paid $100 a piece for them, then spent $25 a piece having them sandblasted only to find out the rims were too far gone on three of them to use. The discs are in very good condition but the rims are mostly junk. The clamps are all pitted but two of them look useable. I have no illusions of getting my money back on these so make me an offer and they are yours. They probably aren't worth the money it would cost to box and ship them so plan on a drive to Livonia MI to pick them up. The rims are 23" in diameter (not including lip), the center hole is 6" and the 5 bolt holes are on an 8" circle. Stamped in to the lip of the retainers is "Firestone 32 x 4 1/2". If these are not for a 226 and you have better info please let me know. If interested please email me at tfee16811 at gmail.com Thanks Todd
  13. Has anyone got an extra spark plug wire loom for a 1930 Standard 8 engine? Todd tfee16811 at gmail.com
  14. McCoy, Don Sommers of American Arrow can supply you with a cap: American Arrow Don Sommer These guys can redo your old emblem: Olds-Packard-Peugeot emblems Wire wheels are harder to find but don't forget that they were also used on Franklins (7 lug only) so check eBay for them that way. Hope that helps a bit
  15. Nice to see a place for woodies on the AACA! Though I'm not a member of the NWC I do own a Ford Depot Hack and am currently working on building a 1930 Packard Estate Wagon. My original plan was to build a 734 speedster sedan out of my 733 but the project seems to be moving towards a wood body instead. My original sedan body is toast having been modified badly sometime in the distant past. Packard progress can be found here: Packard Motor Car Information - Todds 1930 733 7P Sedan [Packard Forums - Project Blogs] The depot hack is finished and I drive it around on occasion but it's a scary ride and with the exhaust dump at my feet I always end up smelling like a muffler when I get out. It sure gets some funny looks though.
  16. N/C Industries Antique Auto Parts - Products I haven't used these guys personally but I hear they do good work and they have a pattern for the 533 according to their website. Good luck Todd
  17. Mike, according to his website John Ulrich has what you need: John Ulrich_Parts Inventory
  18. Tom, great job. The maroon/black color combo with the wood wheels is perfect. Can't wait until mine is that far along.
  19. Ray, we may have to wrestle over those rear fenders! LOL
  20. I think they are the same or at least very similar. If they aren't an exact match they could certainly be modified slightly to work. I believe John Ulrich has a set of 726 fenders if that's what you need. I have the rear fenders from that same parts car and they are pretty beat up so don't expect perfect parts. What are you working on? Todd
  21. 1Packard, is any of the bodywork salvageable? I need rear seats as well but not if the springs have been cooked in the blaze. Could you post some pictures by any chance? Thank you Todd
  22. 1/2-13 would work but you can get the correct bolt from McMaster-Carr in one day for under 20 bucks. If you want to order a sandblaster or a lightbulb or a hinge or a hammer or a sheet of leather or a pound of lard they can get that to you just as quickly. Love those McMaster folks. P.S. Don't ask them to ship high powered magnets to another country though, they won't do it.
  23. It should be pretty easy to measure the threads with a caliper or micrometer and if you don't have a thread gauge you can use other known screws to figure out the pitch of the threads. You can then take those measurements to a machinist to have a new one made.........or you could try and find a used one. I'm thinking there aren't too many of these laying around though.
  24. Restorer, those are fightin' words. Can't we all just get along and do our snickering behind each other's backs like civilized people? Today's selection comes to you from Loveland, CO and can be yours for 14K. Among it's fine attributes are: sorry N/A
  25. The ball studs in the tie rods and drag links on my 733 are shot and I am having new ones created. I couldn't find an aftermarket company who make these so they are being custom made. Let me know this week if you need a set and I can include your parts with mine, these will be exact copies with all bijur line oiling holes included. Drawings below. Price for all (4) studs is $400 plus shipping If you need the seats (cups) as well they are $140 for all (4). Thanks Todd tfee16811 @ gmail.com P.S. I Xed out the drag link cups in the third drawing because these are still OK on my car. Packard part number for tie rod ball stud is: 126145 Packard part number for drag link ball stud is: 132142 These part numbers are shared for the 3d, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th series long and short wheelbase cars.
