A friend of my older sister drove one of these in high school and college. Several years if I recall. I never rode in it.

This seller has a few cars for sale, another Vette parked in the same place. The Caddy looks like it is in the south. And a couple of Mustangs, I agree, Fishy. -

Saw many that had outside oilers rigged up. -
He was in way to small of a trailer and the rear board fell off, I suspect the boar was leaning on it. The poor guy had a hell of a road rash on his sack. He saw us watching him and headed my way. Kinda scary, big tusks, hurting nuts, blazing hot day, snorting. He was out of his element for sure. This guy had to be 600 pounds or more. I didn't know just what to do, he was kinda pissed off and headed towards me. I grabbed the water hose (yea, great weapon) and aimed it at him. Turns out it was the perfect solution, He laid down right there and enjoyed the shower. About a half hour later a witness was able to chase down the driver in the next town. He told the guy that his pig fell out just past the first traffic light, then came back to tell me that the owner should be close behind. About two hours later, the guy with the trailer showed up. Turns out he was looking around at the traffic light at the other end of town. I guess by now it was news and someone had set him straight. He loaded up his animal and since we also had the tail gate to his trailer and some bailing wire we got him going. The old farmer said that he should be ok soon as he was on his way to getting laid. After that I went back to work on some old car. (you see what I did there ?). I am still waiting on the promised pork chops.

I don't recall the exact details, but a friend was getting plates at the OR DMV and realized that a pretty good number combination was getting pretty close to the top of the pile. The nice lady dug them out for him and he has his custom numbers at no extra charge. Something like BIG 427 or the likes.

Nascar might still use water barriers. I know I have seen them get clobbered in the past. -

I have told this story before but will again. Back in the early 70s (think gas shortage) I was sitting at my gas station watching the traffic go by. It is a small town and my station was in the middle of town. I heard some odd tire screeching coming towards me. It was a guy driving one of these carry alls towing a second carry all. He had them chained bumper to bumper with no one in the towed truck. The towed rig was canted to the side with its front wheels turned all the way one way. still kind of rolling, but sort of side ways. I saw lots of odd stull go by as it was a fairly major highway. Most were pretty much slowed down by the time they went by my place, but the local cop got lots of business from the in a hurry tourists. I will have to tell you the story sometime about the very large hog that fell out of a trailer right in front of the place and the driver didn't know it.

A mysterious overdrive transmission missing all the OD parts.

There was one of those in a 37 Desoto I parted out once. Totally mechanical, no electrical parts involved. I never drove it but I kinda liked its simplicity.
