  2. well i did the final upgrade to the nose badge, fully inlaid with full width bars (cut the old pentrident plastic out) and it looks "right" the way the factory should have made it. Now I just have to figure out what to do about that jogg where the center consule meets the dash......

  4. wasnt the doors or windows but it was the top moving ever so sligly up and down in the well, a folded towel and all is quiet again
  5. what about awd, that beam axle in the back would be easy to replace.
  6. washing, waxing, polishing, doing the leather...and not a second under the hood......cant say that of any jag, ferrari, or any other exotic i have owned.........
  7. 1 word, grundy you agree as to its value...and my blondi is worth a lot to me.
  8. I have driven both, and both have problems however the TC's problems are simple to fix (exaust, smec, cut a 1/2 a coil, rear sway bar, badge and trim upgrades) where the caddy is hopless unless you get the northstar and hope the rest hangs togeather.
  9. I am thinking either dirty injectors or your air cleaner is plugged up with crud, no reason not to dump a can of injector cleaner in the tank, put on a filton air cleaner while your doing the distrubtor.

  12. dude with the huge trunk that a TC has you need MORE luggage space? Is you lady parris hilton or sumthing?
  13. and will likely do so for another 50-60k till the next belt job, our little 8valves are just about as rugged as they come.
  14. i use a filton for a 5 liter mustang its HUGE and uber high quality
  15. the after market strut towers wont fit on our beasties, the hood to tower clearance is next to zip....
  16. a buddy of mine has a jag xjs v12 roadster...he hardly ever drives it at 8 mpg...not so with our little masers he is envious big time
  17. found it, one of the coil wires, one that is farest outboard.
  18. welllll i was wrong, the squish the pins did not solve the problem...grrrrrrrrrr
  19. update, did the "squich the pins" works like a charm...
  20. Ok thanks gang, the coil is good will check the wires but i am thinking the female sockets are just a bit large from age...time for a bit of "squichy" on the male ends to make up the difference....tight is right its said
