  4. Hi Owen Just thought I'd send over a few more pictures. I'm starting to think that it might not be a British coach builder, perhaps French? I've looked through coach builders web site and that's where I'm getting that idea from. Any help would be much appreciated. Colin

  7. Hi Everyone I've now sold my Buick collection and have moved on to a new venture into Ferraris after much pressure from my son who does not appreciate the beauty of old cars!!!! With the weather and lack of following and understanding of Buicks in Britain, I only took my car out once or twice last year so decided it was time to let someone else enjoy them. As a family, we have had some wonderful trips to the USA, sourcing parts and visiting car museums, from our first jaunt to the infamous Hershey to California from San Fransisco to LA stopping off at Bob's Autos on the way!! Our most recent trip was from Washington DC, onto the National Buick meet at North Carolina ,where we met some wonderful people with their fab Buicks, then flying to Chicago where my wife spent the last of my money!! I can't thank everyone enough for their support and advice that I have had over the years. Without this forum I would never have been able to achieve what I did with my cars.Maybe one day I'll get another Buick and be back to annoy you all with my unrelenting questions? Thanks again Colin Voice

  12. Had a really good time in Concord, the hotel was perfect, the weather was hot and all very well priced. Would like to thank everyone for bringing all the bits down for my 1931 90 series. Met loads of great people and saw some fantastic cars. Can't wait to get back to the UK to put all the new parts on my car. In Chicago at the moment and it's the wife and son's turn to go shopping!! Any ideas on car museums for me? Thanks again Colin, Kerry and Harry Voice (UK)

  19. Hi I also have a 1924 Buick rhd and live in the UK. I believe the car that you bought (I could be wrong) is a lhd, Flint Built car, green/blue in colour and has not been in the UK long. The car has been sold a couple of times and I spoke to the owner, the previous one that you bought it from. If you post some pictures, I'm sure someone will recognise the car and if you need any help reassembling, then give me a call. I bought mine in bits too. Colin
  20. Hi Sounds like a great trip. Going to the Nationals at North Carolina from the UK, this year. Need to get back out to Aussie and usually tie a holiday around a meet, so, hopefully 2013 or 2014 will see us with you. Our trip will include stops at Perth, Sydney and Townsville so should be able to cover the meet somehow! Have a good trip and let us know how it goes. Pictures would also be good. Colin
  21. Hi Just starting to paint some parts on the engine of my 1931 McLaughlin Buick 90 series and wanted to know which parts were black and which were green or , if anything else was a different colour?? Also, were the McLaughlin engine colours different to the Flint Buicks? Colin
  22. Thanks for the advice from everyone. Think we'll get a cab to Baltimore and then fly from there to Charlotte. Looks like it might work out the cheaper option. Could get the train but too loaded down with luggage! Colin
  23. Need some advice on internal flights. Need a flight from Washington DC to Charlotte and then from Charlotte to Chicago. Anyone know the cheapest and most direct airline we can book with? Having problems trying to find a direct flight. Colin
