  1. And a peaceful Christmas to you and yours and all our Dodge Brothers and sisters around the world! Bill Kronsbein & Family
  2. Now THAT'S a hot tip! God bless you for taking the time to help me. Bill
  3. Still looking...... Anyone have pictures of the assembly??????
  4. That's being creative! Now if only I could adapt an old paint can shaker to that.................. Ok. Your fuel tank is done. What's next?
  5. Thanks for sharing the gas tank chronicles with us! Makes me think I should build a gas tank rotisserie to make that job easier. (I have several to do) You do great work!
  6. Very difficult with the "Privacy Of Information Act". First step is to contact the previous owner on the bill of sale and see if a duplicate title could be issued. One word of advise.....NEVER restore a car until the paperwork is completed! Good luck!
  7. I shouldn't have categorized it as "Everyone". I will change it to "I". As far as waiting until another one shows up next week you should own a 1925 Overland Coupe. NOTHING shows up the next week! Sniping programs serve their purpose, and as a seller, Heck yeah! I love watching the last few minutes of my items! Ain't life grand? Bill
  8. I have been a buyer/seller on Evil Bay since 1998. The trick years ago from the seller was to have a buddy place a bid extremely high to see what the high bidders maximum was. Then he would cancel the bid and another buddy re-bids just under the amount. This was called "Shill Bidding". I believe it's still done but it has to be 12 hours before the auction closes. Go to your item and click on the bids and see if any bids were cancelled. This is why everyone waits until the last minute to bid! Most likely in your case it's just coincidence and all the bidders know what the top value is. Good Luck to you!
  9. As Jack stated get some cheap ratchet straps and strap to a pallet. I have used "Old Dominion" to ship with good pricing and service.
  10. Yep, as the title states, I'm looking for a 1928 Star "R" six sport roadster top frame. I'm sure other years will fit and if not I can adapt. Search your attics and way back behind the work bench guys!
  11. Same to you! Sorry I'm late with a reply John but I hate to type while eating........
  12. My parts book shows all the parts fit 1941-1947 and for models WC (1/2 Ton) & WD-15 (3/4 Ton).
  13. Well, in defense of the seller, it's low miles and all wheel drive! I don't know the location but sounds like the other side of the cheddar curtain. (Wisconsin)
  14. Simply beautiful! And of course we expect a full photo display when you get it home!
  15. Ya gotta love wooden wheels! Beautiful job! Did you chrome the bumpers or silver with clear? Hard to tell from the photo. The engine looks fresh too!
  16. Great photos with a story! Thanks for posting them Mike.
  17. You can't buy entertainment like this ANYWHERE!
  18. John, I really need to know where you walk! Everywhere you go the old cars seem to follow. Only thing I see when I walk are empty cornfields and an occasional road kill squirrel or rabbit........
  19. Great Truck! I used to go to your grandfathers junkyard MANY years ago! If memory serves me right the main road split the yard in half. It seemed everything I needed was on the LONG DISTANCE part of the yard! Great memories! Good luck to you on the sale! Bill
  20. I'm with ya Paul! People even run into cop cars with someone pulled over and lights flashing! I don't get it. I got rear ended 25 years ago by some idiot who says he didn't see me. We are talking a bright red 1937 Chevy coupe! What???????????
  21. Fog my posterior! Texting was probably the culprit. I see it EVERYDAY no matter where I travel.
