I was driving along, in a rainstorm on the highway, when all of a sudden I heard a loud sound, like a tire blowing out, then the car started to shudder. I pulled over to the side of the road and checked for a blowout, but all the tires were intact and inflated. When I tried to drive off, I couldn't get the car to go over about 25 MPH without the shuddering restarting. Any ideas what this might be and if it's okay to drive to a garage or do I need a tow? I just had about $1600.00 of work done on gas lines, new fueltank and fuel pump unit about two weeks ago. Could this be something to do with fuel injectors?
