  2. This 1912 Stoddard Dayton "Savoy" Touring will be for sale at Hershey space OBE16. The car is a jewel, starts, runs, brakes and has an amazing history. It is mostly in exceptional original condition and is complete as when left factory. Has a new top and tires and one seat has been reupholstered but the rest appears to be original. The car has been owned by the same family since 1915 when it was purchased as a used car. I think this is a car that would be great for tours, in that is a car that presents very well but one you can still enjoy and not worry about a nick or a scratch. Exceptional good value at 45,000.00. If you have interest before Hershey please feel free to call me, Allen at 217 778 1425
  3. Offered for your consideration , this 1937 Packard 120 Convertible Coupe. This is an unmolested original survivor car that is basically a good old car that has not been messed with. It was driven thru college by the original owner then parked for decades. The car has not been run in possibly 20 years but the engine is free and the car is pretty correct and complete. It does come with a set of New running boards which are being restored with new mats at this time. The boards were the worst part of the car and had several dings and scrapes. I was able to find a nice original set at Hershey and new mats are being made for them. These are great looking and great driving cars and have phenomenal value when restored properly. Very hard to find unrestored models like this. Feel free to call me, Allen at 217 778 1425. Asking 46,000

  5. True "Barn-Finds" Pierce-Arrows 2 still in their original garage in California & 1 in my garage in Illinois These cars have been locked up in an Oakland, CA garage since 1961 and were last licensed in the early 60's CA cars originally, they have been spared the usual degredation of Midwest winters but still have the textured patina of true "barn-finds" The wood & metal remain amazingly solid, the interiors…not so much. The previous owner was an engineer for Shell Oil and a true lover & collector of Pierce-Arrows He worked in California for many years, then was transferred to St Louis, MO , where he continued his Pierce passions but For some reason, he never had these cars relocated to St Louis. He did however remove parts from the cars and bring them home to St Louis. One must be surrounded by Pierce parts, when you are a Pierce purist He has passed away & I am now the caretaker of this amazing collection. I have purchased this man's entire collection of cars & parts, & I am making available for sale these 3 Pierce-Arrows at a very low price to allow someone the opportunity to enter the prestigious Pierce-Arrow community at entry level Bargain prices that will allow the new owner to invest in the car's restoration These are Full Classics and great cars ready for a home I have been approached by others to buy the cars with the intention of "parting them out" for profit But I believe that they are restorable & that most of the missing parts are among my St Louis "cache". I would like to see these cars get back on the roads of America and will facilitate getting all the correct parts back to the right car …...to make sure you have "All The Right Stuff" 1932 Pierce-Arrow 5 passenger sedan "Barn-Find" Wood appears to be solid and the car is complete with the parts from the St Louis "cache" Engine had had parts removed and the interior is distressed Has dual side mounts. Doors hang well-solid metal Beautiful dash………………..$12,000, Please call anytime to Allen @ 217 778 1425, Thanks
  6. Duesenberg 1926 Model A For Sale 7/20/16 This “Show Chassis” (Serial # 7726) was fully restored by the Harrah’s Automobile Collection of Reno, Nevada. It has a certificate from Harrah’s verifying that it was displayed there for several years until the collection was dismantled. After that, it became part of the Ed Weaver Duesenberg Collection & was on display at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana for several years. It has all the correct, original Duesenberg components with a “running” engine, which bears the Serial #1628. There are only a few miles on it from me “running” it around my neighborhood. After Mr. Weaver’s passing, this Duesenberg went to an Antique Car Museum in Stone Mountain, Georgia for a few years, before it was offered for sale & I purchased it 12 years ago. I was informed that the original body mounted on the chassis was a Milspaugh & Irish Double Bead phaeton, which still exists in California & may be available for purchase. Price $85,000, includes the complete “Show Chassis” & several very rare pieces of original literature for the car. I also have body designs with 3 different renderings done by Strother McMinn, which would be beautiful on this chassis. These drawings were forwarded to me from Eric Killorin, who sold his re-bodied Model A for a world record price a few years back. These cars are extremely rare & have amazing racing & historical provenance. These opportunities rarely present themselves. Please feel free to call me on my Cell phone # (217) 778-1425 to confer about these details. Allen Strong
  7. A couple of years ago The AACA magazine did a feature about the 1915 Indy 500 Pace car owned and driven by Carl Graham Fisher, the builder and owner of the Indy 500 Speedway. This car was Carl's personal car which he used to pace several races. He was the person who solved the problem of pushing through the impenetrable smoke of 33 race cars at the starting line by doing a "rolling start" by using a pace car to bring cars up to speed, then pulling off to allow the race to begin. He was also the father and founder of the Lincoln Highway, America's first coast to coast rock highway. He also used this car to survey portions of this highway. This car had been hidden away and not run in at least 80 years by our reckoning. This past February we set about the project of awakening the car from it's long rest to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Indy 500. We were able to accomplish this and take it to Indy for the Pace Car Reunion on May 21st. This link is to the video to chronicle the event,https://youtu.be/JR2GLSpQxhA

  13. Offered on ebay now, a Packard Senior metal drop down crested metal trunk. This is the 18 by 36 inch trunk that was sold by Packard dealers as the authorized factory trunk for Packards from 1933 to 1939. These are extremely hard to find in any condition and this one is excellent. The nice thing about the metal trunks is that they can be painted to match the vehicle. They are truly works of art and speak to an era of fine craftsmanship. The ebay link is http://www.ebay.com/itm/221732056057?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 and the item number is 221732056057. Please feel free to call me, Allen at 217 778 1425 if I can answer any questions. You can loo0k for one of these for years and not find one this nice. Thanks
  14. Hi Howard, I am interested in your gauge, can I call you or if you prefer to call me I am at 217 778 1`425, Thanks, Allen
  15. I have listed for sale at no reserve and a low start bid a pair of extremely rare 1930 Packard 745 roadster front fenders. This may be the last pair on earth available. These are made of unobtainium!!! check it out, ebay item number 221486235526.
  16. I have listed for sale on Ebay now an untouched original 57 Cad. Eldo Biarritz Convertible for sale. I have owned this car for 15 years and now have to sell it to support the restoration of 2 early Packards. This is where my heart is always drawn back to. I know I will never have the opportunity to own one of these again but you can't have them all...at least I can't. So, I am offering this car for sale. I bought the car from the family that had owned it since 1974. It was a California car and has been in storage since then and has not been run since then as well. The engine is free. It has been inside dry storage but will need to gone thru before running. I can't find any evidence of rust or collision damge anywhere on the car. It is the color code #10 indicating originally Black ext. with red interior. The exterior was repainted poorly sometime before 1974 and poor adhesion has caused the paint to peel in ares. The inside door jambs remain the original black paint. The interior is the original red leather. I am not an expert on these cars but the mechanicals appear to be complete and intact including the twin 4 barrel carters with the batwing air cleaner. This is the Duesenberg of the 50's cars and with the limited production, how many untouched survivors can be left? Please feel free to call me for more info about the car at 217 778 1425. The car will sell, I will take 55,000.00, now and take it off Ebay. The car sold on Eaby a week ago for over 60,000 but the last bidder was a phoney buiyer from Chille. Unfortunately Ebay leaves little recourse but to try again. The Ebay item number is 330882098005. Thanks for looking, Allen

  19. For Sale: 1932 Packard 902 Convertible Sedan. This car is a California car and is rock sloid with no rust. It is complete and driveable. It was shown at the 1956 Pebble Beach Concours and resided in California all it's life till I bought it 11 years ago from a prominent Ca. collector. The beautifull styling of the 32 Packard combined with the convienience of touring with the roll up windows made this a very expensive car in 1932. The Dietrich inspired bodys have aluminum door skins and steel bodies with removable pillar posts. We will be taking it to Hershey to drive around and offer it for sale if it does not sell before. Has all corect componenets including the Detroit carb. Please feel free to call Allen at 217 778 1425 if interested.
