  1. Hi, when I tried to adjust my hand brake today, the cable just slipped out of the end piece that goes into the central equalizer bar below the body in the center of the car. It seems to have been crimped in there. Can I fix that on my own? If yes, how? Heat it, solder it in, or just crimp it back in with brute force? If no, where can I get a new one? Bob´s doesn´t seem to have them. Thanks for your help, Christian
  2. Hi, I just bought a 1937 McLaughlin Roadmaster 80c Convertible in Canada and brought it to Germany (where I live). To get it registered here, I would need some documentation on technical data (dimensions, weights, engine, tires, max speed, etc.). Is there a source that I can access or is there anyone who can send me a file with the data. Your help is much appreciated. Christian

  4. Hi, someone has converted my 37 Roadmaster to sealed beam headlights and I want to revert it back to original. Does anybody know where I can get the parts? Are glass and reflector from other models useable? Bob´s doesn´t have them. Thanks for advise and help. Christian
  5. Thanks to all, you convinced me to leave it at 6V. After all, the car starts well and everything works more or less ok. Just the head lights remind me of candle light diner. Christian
  6. Hi, does anyone have experience with a 12V conversion of a 37 Buick? Benefits? Would you do it again? Who can rewind the generator coils, solenoid, etc? What are the caveats? Thanks, Christian
  7. used or new, all 4 matching pieces preferred but urgently need the center piece and the heat valve body. Thanks for help or any reference. chstickl@t-online.de
  8. Hi, the exhaust manifold center piece and heat valve body of my 37 Roadmaster is cracked in several places and apparently someone already did a bad job fixing it. Bob´s doesn´t have these parts anymore, so is there anybody who knows or has either the whole assembly or at least the two center pieces, used or new? Greatful for any reference. [color:"red"]
