  3. I have the exact same year and model and know alot about the trucks and parts seach. Can you send a picture?<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: dartin</div><div class="ubbcode-body">First timer here.... I have a 1937 Dodge Express(pick up) 136" WB that I am trying to get the title for. I can handle the paper work in my state (Utah), but I'm not sure what numbers to use. Originally I thought the number plate (small oval) on the firewall would be the right number (mine reads K-19-2-LR-31870 the -19- could be another number it is very faint). After reading many posts here, it looks like that number is the body tag. So what number do I give the DMV; body number, frame serial number (I haven't found this yet) or some thing else? For obvious reasons I want to use the right number from the start. Any help others can offer would be much appreciated, I have a book from Chrysler that provides much of this info for Dodge trucks, but I can't find it, dang wife always making me put my stuff away. Also I have read where Chrysler will provide a build sheet, where do I send for that and what info do they need? Thanks for all help offered. </div></div>
  4. 5. Dodge City in Jamestown,Ca. Mike Northcutt has those cab mounting parts<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: DodgeKCL</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Not sure about 1937 but in 1933 to '35 the wooden shims are factory installed. 6. The DB Club caters mostly to the 1920s cars and not enough for the 1930s vehicles. This is why I let my membership expire. My fellow collector friend sent the board members several years worth of potential write-up documents and high resolution images.Only one of these were used after there were numerous complaints. The DBC website is not designed very well and is not updated enough for my needs. This club needs fresh blood and long terms abolished. The bottom line is the fact that you will get very little restoration help for the 30's vehicles. It seems like it is more about having a great time on tours and less knowledge about the nuts and bolts of the Dodge vehicles.I own a Jaguar and absolutly hate the fact that these Jag members can't even change a spare much less talk to you about the Jag mechanicals and engineering.
  7. Robert's hubcaps have the very unoriginal OOOOO script on them instead of Dodge. You can find the stock hubcaps on Ebay.
  8. A Chevy S-10 pickup 5-speed will fit 1933-1950's.
  9. A Ford Mustang T-5 or Tremec will bolt up to your bellhousing with very little modifications. You can save your stock parts and exchange them if you want stock again.
  10. Those "Boulivard Sidelights" were a dealer option and were in the Dodge acceseries booklet.
  11. Hi John, My name is John Hurt.I am the one that started the thread where are all of the 1930's articles.I own a 1937 & 1933 humpback and 1935 early-cab pickup & 1937 3/4 ton canopy express screenside.I have a friend ,Jeff Tyler, who has 2 1937 humpbacks. He provided the factory brochures for the magazine articles. We are going to reproduce some parts in the future like the center grill and crankhole cover, mirror arms, rear license plate arms, etc.I have some simle bolt-on mods for the engine and trans. It is possible to use three single intake SU carbs,Mallory unilite distributor, jet coated equal length headers and T-5 Ford Mustang transmission. There is a bolt-on kit for disc brakes as well.
  12. I have a 1933 & 1937 Dodge Humpback.We need a Commercial Vehicle club!
  13. I need KCL wire spoke wheel hubcaps and windshield brackets and knobs to tilt out windshield. Also need 1937 Dodge Humpback interior lower wall bulkhaeds, right and left side. These cover the lower walls from the outer floor surface.I will pay a finders fee when purchased.
  14. I think that CADMV just wants the plates to be visible to the patrol vehicle.I have bought old plates for my 1933,1935,1937 Dodge Commercial and other 1937 Dodge comercial vehicle but not sure if they will be registerable by the script. What if there is another plate out there like mine?I have the correct titles for my trucks.
